Chapter 1

Daniel's POV

I just got back to my apartment from class, one of my roommates, Aaron, was there but I guess Jose is still in class. I went to the kitchen to make myself some lunch and I get a text from my friend Emmyn.

Emmyn C. : Hey man I was wondering if you could replace my friend in our show tonight and play guitar for us. I know it's short notice but he got sick.

Me : Yea i'll come by just send me the addy and time!

Emmyn : Thank you so much! you're a life saver!! Me and Dani are gonna get some food after if you wanna come, I think her sister is going too.

-I guess if her sister is going i'll go... third wheeling with those two is not fun.

Me : Alright thanks for the invite i'll let you know later! haha

Emmyn : Ok cool! thanks again dude!! see you tonight!

-I'm actually really excited it's been a minute since i played and i miss it!

Lauren's POV

I want to sit down and work on songs tonight but i don't have much inspiration. I kinda wish I had plans tonight, even though i LOVE my alone time it's been awhile since I socialized. Dani said she's coming over soon so i guess i'll hang with her.

*Dani came barging in through the door*

Dani : why don't you lock the door, I could be a robber for all you know ???

Me : it's Amy that never locks it when she leaves!

Dani : So how did your date go the other night ?! I forgot to ask when we were at kath's house.

Me : It was alright, I mean the guy is nice but I don't really want a second date. He seemed a bit full of himself and talked way to much.

Dani : well you're the opposite so maybe that good for you...

Me : No i wasn't feeling it with this one.

Dani : Well i told Em that i was going to bring you to his show tonight so go get ready ya lonely rat! Maybe you'll meet someone there.

Me : What! no i'm not going to that i'll just stay here, you go. Those shows are too much for me.

Dani : Come on just come and then we'll go and get some sonic.

Me : Alright but your paying. and driving.

Dani : of coarse I am now hurry up!!!

- i'm not a huge fan of those pop punk shows but I wanted to do something tonight so I guess this is what i'm getting.

When we got to the venue we went ahead and got in the back behind crowd, the guys were already playing. I saw one guy in particular who i haven't seen in their shows before. Well i've only been to two other ones and that was months ago but still.

Me : Hey Dan who is the guy on guitar I don't recognize him.

Dani : Oh that's Daniel, he is a friend of Emmyn, he's played a couple shows with them before but i didn't know he was coming tonight, I guess Max was to sick to come.

- He's kinda cute to be honest but of coarse i didn't tell Dani that. Either way I don't know if this some rocker guy is my type, well i don't really have a type.

After awhile we went backstage to get away from the crowd, they only had a couple songs left but i was a little overwhelmed.

Once they finished and came back to start packing everything, Emmyn came by to ask if we were ready to go eat. He said that one of his friends was coming but i'm not sure who. Me and Dan went ahead and left to sonic and we were gonna meet the two of them there.
