Chapter 4

Lauren's POV

*Phone Buzzes*

Dani : Hey Laur I forgot to text you last night to see if you ever got your phone.

Me : No dan I didn't get my phone back, it's still at the venue...

Dani : Oh than you have to go get it what if someone stole it by now !!!?!?

Me : Dani, I worry about you sometimes...

Dani : What

Dani : Why would you say that?

Lauren : How do you think i'm texting you right now ?????

Dani : ... let's not talk about this...

Dani : So was boy daniel nice to you

Lauren : boy daniel?

Dani : our names are too similar, he is boy daniel from now on.

Lauren : okayyy.... It went well we actually ended up going to my house and eating some pizza.

Dani : skskskhejsn whaaaa tell me more how did this happen ????!!?!?

- I finished telling Dan about my night and how i told him about our band and showed him some of my songs, and how he showed me some of his covers and told be about his work. I was still thinking about it. It felt different with him than it does with other guys.

Dani : So when is the next date

Dani : OMG YOU GUYS CAN COME ON A DOUBLE DATE WITH EM AND I !!!

Me : chilll lady it's not that serious. we just had a chill night together.

Me : and it wasn't a date we literally JUST met.

Dani : Idk it's sounds like you like him...

Me : He was really fun to be with but i'm trying to get over ~he who shall not be named~

Dani : Lauren no offense but he had a girlfriend so you never really had a chance. I mean you wrote a whole song about him.

Me : Ok dani i get it i'll see you at the band meeting later.........

- I'm trying to get over a crush still. We hung out and talked a lot but he was already taken. I wrote my song flames about him but I haven't released that one yet. Daniel was fun not gonna lie, i can't say much when we only hung out for a few hours. But Dani is right I never had a chance with the other guy.

When i got to Kath and Lisa's place for the meeting, we were just sitting at the table talking about what videos we would start posting, we were planing on bringing cimorelli saturday back. But then out of nowhere of coarse Danielle has to say something.

Kath : So how was everyone's night?

Dani : Lauren went on a date.

Me : DANI

- everyone started asking me questions...

Lisa : oooohh laurieee

Kath : wait really how did it go??

Amy : Was it the same guy as the other night, I thought you didn't really like him?

-Me and Amy being the only single ones, every time one of us starts talking to a guy it becomes this huge deal.

Me : Guys chill it wasn't even a date. He was playing guitar at Dani's boyfriend's show and we all went to go eat together.

Lisa : Oh that's not a date.

Dani : You left out the part that you both went to your house afterwards!

Christina : Oh now we're talking about a date.

Me : Nooo we just talked about stuff and ate some pizza, nothing serious it was just two new friends hanging out. Now can we get to work and stop talking about my love life.

Lisa : Love... I thought you said two friends what does that have to with your love life.

- I glared at lisa and everyone laughed. I expected this conversation would happen, Dani always has to say something.

Daniel's POV

I went to sleep pretty late last night so I was late to class today. Once I got home I started writing music. I wasn't sure where the inspiration came from but I had a weird feeling. I haven't written anything since before me and my ex broke up last year.

•(Side note for story: Daniel dated and girl, Nichole, for about two years until he found out she had been cheating on him. Now he has trust issues with relationships.)

- I'm not really looking to be in a relationship right now. I have met so many people in the last few months through work and school. I have made so many good friends without the mindset of getting in a relationship. I think last night was the first time in awhile that I spent time with a girl and felt what i felt. But i mean at the same time she's my friend's girlfriend's sister. So it was more of a friendly hang out. Nothing else.
