Chapter 9

Lauren's POV

I woke up a little late today so I was late to the band meeting. When I walked in everyone was in the kitchen talking and I felt all their eyes look in my direction as I sat down.

Christina: Oh look who decided to come in today.

I rolled my eyes at her comment.

Me: Good Morning to you too. At least I came at all. *wink*

Christina just glared at me and looked back at her laptop.

Lisa: Why are you late, you wake up at the crack of dawn everyday. Usually you're here before me and I live here!

Me: Amy could've at least woken me up before she left! You rat! *looks at amy*

Amy: *puts her hand up in defense* Hey it sounded like you got home pretty late last night! I was letting you sleep!

Kath: Laurie? Getting home late!? No way.

Dani: OoOooh I bet she was with boy dani!

Lisa: Boy who?!

Christina: You were with a guy!?

Dani: It's the same guy she was with after Em's concert!!

Kath: Oh the guy you invited to your house after only knowing him for like an hour?!??

Me: Guys chi-

Christina: Why do you always hangout so late tho

Lisa: WOW lauren's got a man!

They were all going back and forth with comments and cutting each other off. I finally was able to speak up.

Me: Do you want to know where I was or not!?!?

Everyone stopped talking and lightly laughed as they looked of at me.

Me: Yes I was with Danie-

Dani: HA I KNEW IT!

-I glared at dani. She stopped and just looked at me.

Dani: Sorry, continue.

Me: He invited me to a little party. I went over for a couple hours but we just spent most of the time outside talking.

Lisa: You went to a party in the middle of the week?!

Dani: He's in college, I feel like they have parties every other day!

Kath: You went to a college party!?

Me: Trust me guys it wasn't that big of a deal. He doesn't drink luckily, so he kind of has the same tolerance for parties as I do. It was actually fun.

Amy: Yea cause it was just you two outside. Did you even try to socialize?

Me: Yea he introduced me to a few of his friends and we talked to them for a while.

Dani: You see! Isn't it nice to have a guy who shows you off and dOESN'T KEEP YOU A SECRET! *raises her voice*

Me: okay chill lady. Now can we get to the meeting I have have things to do.

Christina: Like what, go out with boy dani.

Me: Maybe...

Kath: Okay guys we need to talk about our music video for sgc.

-We continued our meeting and at the end I posted my promo video for the new song i'm releasing, flames.
