My mom made me stay at Paige's house for the rest of the day. "Chloe what do you want for lunch?" Paige asks. "Food!" I smile. "Hahaha very funny." She laughs. "Why don't we go get McDonald's or something?" She suggests. I nod my head.

Paige and I are sitting in her kitchen eating. "What happened at your old school?" She randomly says. I sigh. "Let's talk about something else." I say trying to change the subject. As planned josh walks in. "Hey guys!" He says. "What's wrong." He hesitates. "Nothing, everything Is just fine." I smile. They can't know what happened at my old school. I get up to go grab my phone. I have a text from my mom. "Chloe, can you please come home? Clara needs to be watched." "Guys I have to go and watch my sister. I will text you." I smile and grab my jacket and house keys. "Bye Chlo." Paige says while giving me a hug. "Bye!" Josh yells.

I open my house door and my parents are fighting. "Hey guys." I say. "Chlo! Um can you watch Clara? We have some errands to run?" My dad asks. "Sure." I slowly say. "Where is she?" "Upstairs, sleeping" my mom says. Typical. I head upstairs to my room and text Paige.

C- Hey paigey mack

P- Hi! Did you have to leave?

C- I had to watch sleeping Clara.

She doesn't text back. I get a text from an unknown number. Josh.

J- Hey it's Josh

C- hey what's up?

J- Nothing. Did you have to leave?

C- Hahaha your sister asked the exact same question.

J- No wonder we're twins.

C- Do you ever wonder what would happen if you and Paige weren't twins?

J- I would be lost. She helps me with everything.

C- What about Brooke?

J- She is older. It's harder. Paige gets me more than my bestest friends.
