Day forty two

''Wait, where's kevin?'' I questioned.

''This nigga.'' Clyde spoke.

Clyde looked around, along with Chresanto, and instantly did their face turn to sorrow. ''Guys, remember those times when i said i'd kill him but didn't? Well, now i'm serious.'' Chresanto spoke.

''Let's kill him tonight'' Clyde insisted.

''What the fuck, guys? Let's focus on getting out of here maybe?'' I suggested. They agreed and Clyde jumped out of the raft. Chresanto looked at me blankly.

''You ready, Karen.''

''Like i'll ever be''

He loaded me over his shoulder and swam off into the cold water. I was reluctant because i felt myself slip a little from his grip, but he held onto me tightly while following Clyde. I released my hands rom his shoulder and climbed slowly onto his back so it could be easy for him to swim.

A few minutes later, we came to a stop..

''Where's the ground!'' Clyde yelled over the sounds of water clashing.

''Didn't we just see it before?!'' I asked.

''I'm sure we did! What do we do now!'' Clyde asked.

Chresanto shrugged. ''Clyde, hold Karen. I'll go find a place to stay. Take my backpack too.'' He swam towards Clyde, and i switched onto his back.

''Be safe, Chresanto.'' Me and Clyde assured.

''Yeah i'll be alright. But if you find land, just yell for me, a'ight? I'll be able to follow the sounds, okay?" He made sure we were listening.

''Mhm'' We nodded.

Chresanto planted a small kiss along my lips and smirked. He started swimming away while me and Clyde just glared at the body of water. He'll be back.

..

....

...

''Karen, do you see that? Or are my eyes just decieving me.'' He cried out.

My eyes followed his gaze, and i was soon met by a speck of green in my sight. I squinted my eyes and looked harder. Clyde was right. There was land up ahead.

''Hell yeah i see that. Swim!''

And soon, Clyde began to swim towards the little island. Or atleast i think it is an island. My arms held tightly around his neck while my legs hung clunged to his stomach. The water began to grow cold, and i began to shiver.

''It's getting colder.'' I muttered.

''I know. I don't like it.''

I saw a boat drift off in front of us. Before i thought it was other people but i was wrong. It was empty. I told Clyde to swim towards it, and once we were close enough, i grabbed it.

This boat looked familiar.

''Wait, this was the boat me and Chresanto had at the ship. How'd it get here?'' I asked, mostly to myself. I climbed off of Clyde's back and onto the boat. It seemed to be in pretty good shape, so i guess nothing happened to it.

''C'mon, we need to get to that little area and  call for Chresanto before he get's too far from us.'' Clyde warned. I agreed with him and we began to paddle quickly.

The boat drifted from side to side, and some water got onto us, but we simply ignored it. We finally reached the green covered ground, and glanced at it.

It looked really strange.

The tree's were fully grown and bright green, the sand was really think, the water here was very dark, and the whole thing just seemed unpleasant. Even the air reaked of something so exotic. I hated it here.

''Oh my gosh, i'm gon' throw up in a minute.'' Clyde joked.

''There has to be some other place to stay. What is this?'' I picked up a knife, and it had red stains on it. I threw it into the water, scared now.

''Oh my God, Clyde, what if there's a killer here?!'' I shouted.

''Relax, girl. There might be someone here too.'' He looked into the messy trees. The sky was mixed with different shades of grey, and drops of rain spilled a little on my forehead.

''Chres!'' I shouted.

Clyde soon chimed in. ''Chresanto, nigga where you at!''

I smacked him behind his head and looked around. We called his name multiple times, but we got no reply. We stopped, seeing as though he might've not heard us, but he probably did.

Soon, the evening had come, and still no sign of Chresanto. Maybe he'll be here by dawn? I'm beginning to slightly worry about him. Something i'm surpised of. Me, worried about Chresanto? Haha, maybe our relationship has grown over the days, right? Hm, i doubt it.

Me and Clyde settled out on the side of the island-type thing. We ate some of the food we had inside his backpack. We had three, but we'd take one bag for now.

I heard ruffling behind me, and i knew it wasn't clyde because he was falling asleep. I hesitantly looked behind me and saw a dark presence. I immidiately screamed and stood up.

''Who are you?'' I mumbled.

''Does it matter?''

''Well y-yes. You just come here and sneak behind me like a-''

''Did you take my knife?''

I furrowed my eyebrows. ''What knife.''

''MY knife. I left it here, on the ground, by accident. Where is it?'' His voice had gotten darker, and at this moment, i wished Clydes monkey ass would wake the fuck up to help me out here.

''Oh.. '' I opened my eyes slowly. ''about that. It kinda got washed away and stuff-''

I was cut mid-sentence by a stinging pain on my stomach, knocking all the air out of me. I fell on the ground next to Clyde. I aggressively shook him. This evil man in front of me is really scaring me.

''What the hell!? The fuck did you do that for?'' I yelled.

''That was the only thing to help me survive around here. And if you think you can get away with that, you've got another thing comin' you bloody hoodlum.'' He insulted.

''Clyde, get the hell up!''

He groaned and looked at me, then glanced above me, seeing the man that grabbed my leg. I, of course, fought back and kicked him away.

Clyde got up and tackled the strange man onto the ground.

Well shit, where did that come from.

He aggresively punched and kicked at the man, and i can tell he was unconcious after a few minutes of brawling because he stopped moving.

''Stupid ass. You okay Karen?''

''Yeah, but now i'm even scared about this place. How do we know there's now another ceepy person around here? This one was about to kill me because i lost his knife. What kind of sick-''

''Chill out, Karen. I got'chu alright? Now, i brought some flashlights with us just in case. We gotta set up camp."

And thats how the day ended. Me and Clyde made a little shelter to keep us until tomorrow.

And again I went to sleep.  But, I heard a clanking noise. Kind of like what I heard yesterday before we mysteriously got in a river. But I quickly ignored it and closed my eyes.
