Paynes Cousin (One Direction Fanfiction)

I was so happy when the plane finally landed. I grabbed my backpack from under my chair and stood up, following Niall out of the plane and into the airport. Once we left our terminal, there were hundreds of girls behind barracades, and when they saw the boys' they started screaming at the top of their lungs. 

Niall grabbed my hand in his and laced our fingers, causing a smile to spread across my face. Body guards walked in front of us, leading a safe path, on either side of us, and also followed behind. The screams were almost defening. The boys' all waved to the girls, some were smiling and some had their phones out and some were bawling. 

We were lead down some sort of secret hallway as the screams got quiter and the echo of our voices got louder. 

"That was spectacular." Liam said, smiling back at everyone. I felt Nialls' hand slip from mine as he pulled it up to his phone. I looked over at Niall who was about to tweet something. 

I pulled out my phone and refreshed the page until i saw Nialls' tweet.

It had millions of retweets and favorites by the time i even finsihed reading it. All the comments were so sweet. I scrolled through my mentions and saw people posting pictures of me and Niall holding hands while walking through the airport. 

I saw smiling at all of them until i came across one. It was the moment Niall had slipped his hand in mine and i looked at him longingly. My eyes were bright and my face was slightly red at the cheeks. the caption read "how does anyone still think they don't love each other??". I decided to comment on the picture

I looked up from my phone and made eye contact with Niall before lacing my fingers back between his. 

When we arrived at the hotel, there was a huge crowd, and our car pulled up right at the front. We all climbed out, Niall grabbing my hand tightly. When the guards made a small opening for us to push through, Niall held me infront of him, wrapping his arms around my waiste as we squished through. With each step the crowd got closer. I'm short so i was getting very claustrophobic. I squeezed Niall's arm and he tightened his grip. 

We were almost to the end of the crowd when i felt someone grab a handful of my hair and pull me towards the crowd, pulling me from Niall. I was pulled into the crowd and everyone swarmed me. I screamed as i held onto Niall's hand, but unable to see his face or body. 

Niall pushed through the crowd of girls and grabbed me.

"Let the fuck go!' He screamed at the girl who still held my hair. She finally let go and Niall lifted me up, placing me back in our walk way before we ran into the building. 

I was so shocked and scared by the time we got inside, i almost started crying in the elevator. Niall had worry written on his face as he leaned into the corner of the elevator and held me. I wrapped my arms around his waiste and buried my face in his chest until i heard the ding, signaling our floor.

We stepped off and i saw across the hall were more guards holding back more girls. They saw us and started screaming. I rubbed my temples while Niall grabbed my hand and pulled me to his room. It was about 9:15pm by the time we finally got here.

"Thank god we can't hear anymore screaming." I say as i lay down on the bed

"I thought you loved the fans?" He laughed, dissapearing with our bags into the bathroom

"I do, its just sometimes-"

"It's too much" He says, saying what i was thinking

"Exactly" I smiled as he lays down next to me, draping an arm around my waiste and pulling me closer, looking me in the eyes.

"I love you so much, Kera." He says and i laugh, closing my eyes.

"I love you too Niall" He pulled me closer and i felt my eyes get heavy before i fell into a deep sleep. 

-next morning-

I rolled over and opened my eyes, getting blinded by the sun. I sit up and my feet hit the cold floor. I walked over to the door, opening it and leaning out, seeing no one in the hallway. I looked behind me and the clock reads 8:30am. 

I walk back in the door and grab shoes to match my leggings and tshirt. I brush through my hair but leave it down. I walked back to the door and pressed the button for the elevator. I step on the elevator, alone, when it finally comes.

I pressed main floor, hoping to get some breakfest in the lobby. When i stepped off, there was no sign of fans. I walked over to the continental breakfest and made some oatmeal and grabbed a banana before heading to a table by a window. I sat down and pulled out my phone

i sent Niall a text before i heard someone say my name, making me snap my head up to see 2 teenage girls standing by my table.

"Sorry to interupt your breakfest, but can we maybe get a picture with?" One girl asked. I wanted to say no and tell them to go away but that would be so mean and this is probably there only chance

"Of course" i smile, before leaning into their selfie. Once they thanked me and left, i finsihed my oatmeal quickly and grabbed my banana and walked outside to the front of the hotel. 

There were about 20 girls sitting outside and few to none looked up. I looked around and saw none of our cars, what the hell?

I knew this was a bad idea, but i walked over to one of the girls. 

"Excuse me?" I said, tapping her shoulder, she turned and smiled

"Yeah?" 

"Do you know where One Direction is?" I asked, sitting next to her.

"Uh yeah. They are having a radio interview this morning. They came through here and i got a picture with Harry! Have you met them?" I try to stop from laughing. 

"Uh yeah i have actually." I say before standing up again. "Can i get your twitter? I wanna follow you." She nods and gives me her username

As i walk back inside i tweet her
