Paynes Cousin (One Direction Fanfiction)

Good.

After I get changed and muster up enough courage to talk to every one again, I walk into the shared room. 

"Look who's back for round 2." Luke jokes as I roll my eyes, I earn a playful wink. 

"Yeah, that's not why I'm here." I say and sit down on the arms rest. "I'm here to hangout with my friend. Not tickles." I say and Niall rests his hand on my thigh.

"Well what do want to do, love?" Niall asks, looking up at me. 

"I think we should play a game or something." I say "Maybe hide and seek in the hotel

"I'm down. What are the rules to this game?"

"No going outside or in anyone elses hotel rooms." I say and everyone nods. "Not it!" I say and everyone says it, making Calum it. 

I jump up and run out of the room. I head for the stairs, knowing he won't look there. I run down them, hiding under the stairs. I sit in silence until i hear one of the doors open and i hear Calum and Harry talking, running down the stairs. I stand up quick and run down a few floors before opening the floor 5 door and slowly shutting it so they don't hear it. 

Once i shut the door I run down the long hallway and turn a corner. When I turn the corner i see girls sitting in the hallway near the elevators. I slow down to act casual and that's when I notice their One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer shirts. I slowly walk past them and they look up, but not giving me a second glance thankfully. 

I press the elevator button and wait for the door to open. When it  does, Niall is standing in the small room with Luke right beside him. I hear Luke laugh before turning to me. the girls behind me stand up and hold up their phones. 

"Can we get a picture?" One girl says and steps onto the elevator as I do. Niall takes my hand in his and pulls him toward him, wrapping an arm around ym waiste. The girls eyes look down at his arm around me. "Are you guys dating?"

"Yeah we are actually." Niall smiles, looking down at me.

"Oh..." Another says and they all jump onto the elevator. They all take pictures with Luke and they get really touchy feely and i see the distress on his face, making me hold in a laugh. 

Once the door binged, we stepped off and they follow us, still talking to Luke. He tries to politley dismiss them, but they don't take the hint and keep walking with us. Luke looks at me and i laugh due to the look on his face. 

"So where are you guys staying?" One asks. 

"We all have a floor reserved." Luke says, trying to gain more space inbetwee him and the thirsty blonde. 

"Yeah but what room? Maybe we can swing by or something?" She says, stepping closer to him. 

"I don't know. The security is pretty crazy about fans on our floor." Luke says, avoiding her eye contact and her lingering hands on his arm. 

"But I'm sure you'd make an exception." She says, winking when he looks at her. 

"I'm not sure-"

"C'mon Luke. We can show you a good time." She says and i feel some second-hand embarrassment radiating off Luke. 

"Sorry, but we have a busy night. Maybe another time we are here." He says as we reach the stairs and start down them, and surely enough, they follow. 

We walk in silence as the girls all follow behind us and i see a frown growing on Niall's face, but they are trying to be polite to their fans. 

"We really have to go now." Luke says as we reach the main floor. 

"Can i atleast have your number?"

"Look, we can't date fans." He says and i nearly snort "And I have to go." He says and we finally get rid of them by turning another corner.

"That was um... very... interesting." I say and watch Luke's face heat up. "Why didn't you invite that girl back to your hotel, Luke?" 

"Shut up." He says, biting back a smile. 

"C'mon she was cute right? She could've showed you a good time?" His face burns like bright red. I knew he wasn't going to answer, but I loved messing with him because he is so shy. We got back on the elevator and security were standing inside when the doors opened. By the look on their faces, we were not supposed to be off our floor. 

We all stood in silence until it finally reached the 11th floor. As we walked down the hallway, the boys got taken into the shared hotel room. I walked into my room and I tried to calm my nerves by watching some t.v. 

Niall finally walked into the room and rolls his eyes dramatically. He walks over to my bed and lays down next to me, resting his hand on his hand and his elbows on the bed. 

"What'd they say?" I ask, turning off the t.v. 

"They basically yelled at us or risking fans fidning us." He says and i sigh, laying onto the pillows and closing my eyes. "They have to control everything and our fans have to pays hundreds to even see us."

"Take it down a notch Mr.Pissy." I say and he huffs. I feel him straddle me and ii feel him leaning down. I feel his lips press to my nose and i smile, letting out a laugh.

"I love you, baby." He says while I still my eyes closed, but my smiler growing bigger. "You mean the world to me." He says and i finally open my eyes to see him staring down at me. 

"I love you too Niall." I say and lift my head up, kissing his lips before resting my head back down. He rolls off me and burries his head into the pillows. 

"Will you ever break up with me?" He asks, catching me off gaurd, i turn towards him and he looks at me. 

"Niall?" I ask and laugh a little. 

"You seem to have a liking for Luke so i don't kn-"

"Luke is my friend first of all. Second, i love you. We might not be together forever but i love you and no, i don't plan on breaking up." I say and he wraps an ar around my waiste. 

"Good."
