Nightmares (Chucky x reader)

Reader's POV:

I sat up quickly on my bed as tears filled my eyes,Images of my nightmare still played in my vision.My vision was blurry from the tears that proceeded to flood my eyes.I felt weak in my knees so curled up on my bed,Back against the bed frame.I wrapped my arms around my waist as I tried to calm myself down even alittle bit.I heard shift making my knees come closing so I was curled up hugging my knees trying to stop the tears that proceeded to steam down my face.

The bed beside me dipped as I felt two small hands gripp my long sleeve shirt.I lifted my head slightly to see Chucky.My mom bought me him since she said I needed friends and she didn't like me always being home alone as she was at woke.He was slightly broken but I didn't mind since he still worked.I whipped my face and looked away not wanting the toy to watch me.Part of me hated calling him a toy but that was all he was,wasn't it?

"Bestie?"I heard chucky speak as he slightly tugged my arm towards him.I sniffled as I looked away,My arm was slightly weak so I let him tug it away from him.Chucky walked more towards me.He was a little shorter than me when he stood next to me.He moved my hand so he could see my tear stained face.He looked shocked as he hugged me.I started to cry again as I hugged back."What's wrong with my bestie?"Chucky asked innocently,I whipped my face again as I looked back at him.He sat on my lap waiting for a response.

I sighed,I began to explain my nightmare to him.He sat there taking al the information in.I started to second guess telling all my problems to a toy.He hugged me again.

"It's okay now (Y/n),"his voice was soft as I hugged back smiling since I was feeling sorta better knowing Chucky was there for me.I began to lie back down still holding Chucky as I put both the blanket on us.I still wasn't over my nightmare so I wont fall asleep as fast as my tired body would like.Chucky continued to tell me that the nightmare wasn't real and that he will scary them all off.I smiled as he snuggled into my chest as I watched the stars through the window twinkle.

I hugged Chucky to my chest as I felt myself drift off into sleep knowing I had my little Chucky looking after me.
