"Mommy how long will you be in the hospital?" Emma bounced onto her parents' queen size bed, watching her mother pack an overnight bag for the hospital.
"Why do you look so sad Emmy, you don't want grandma to stay here?" Rachel went over to her bed, pulling her daughter onto her lap.
"It's just, Daddy's already in the hospital I don't want you to go too Mommy." Her heart melted as the little girl held onto her neck.
"Baby I explained this to you already. Don't you want Daddy to get better?" She felt Emma nod. "Well Mommy has to do this so Daddy can get better. I promise baby, it's not going to take long and when I feel okay, grandma can take you to come visit us. Then before you know it, we'll be home! Is that okay Emmy?"
"Okay Mommy." She pulled her mother into a hug. Rachel smiled at how understanding Emma was.

"Okay Rachel, we're going to have you count backwards from ten then everything will be over before you know it." Rachel started counting and the scene of doctors above her soon became a blur.
Everything will be over before you know it.

"Mom, are you ready?" Rachel turned, facing her grown daughter.
"How do I look?" She spun around in her white dress, not too different from her wedding dress.
"You look beautiful Mom, as always." Emma pulled her daughter into a hug. "Let's go they're waiting for you."

"We are gathered here today to witness the renewal of vows between Mr. and Mrs. Ross Geller along with their children, Emma and Jake Geller, and their family and friends. Mrs. Rachel Geller, your vows please."
"Ross, I don't even know where to begin. You are my light, my life, and my home. It has not been easy, getting to where we are standing today. But alas, we are standing. Together. I remember how it felt to feel like any day I could lose you. I still feel that way because it's true. I could lose you at anytime. But I promise that every day I have with you, I will cherish.
