fifty nine

y/n's pov:
i walk out of the wedding dress store as i smiled slightly, "i can't believe you said yes to the dress!" my best friend jess said i nodded, "i can't believe i said yes to the question" i laughed as she chuckled slightly laughing

i walked to the car door closing the door behind me, "your wedding is in a two days babes! are you excited?" she asked me, i shrugged, "nope" i honestly said, "it's been a year since joey died, liam turned 5 months yesterday as well" i sighed

"i just can't believe this is actually true, how could joey not be responding" i gulped as i drove to a coffee shop, "i know but maybe this is meant to be" i said as i shrugged again, "are you not in love with scott just a bit?" she asked, i bit my lip as i shook my head

"no i can't be" i said, "i know that joey will wake up and as long as his heart is beating i'll be his, i need to know that he's dead before falling in love again" i said parking outside the shop, "i understand but babe he's basically dead" she said looking at me as i shook my head

"he's not" i fought as she sighed, "you need to move on" she said as i rolled my eyes, "and where's liam now?" she asked, "with landon's mom" i said looking at the menu, "she's a part of his life?" she asked as i nodded laughing

"i mean she's alive what can i do?" i said, "she's actually very sweet" i smiled as we both gave our orders to the waiter, " honestly landon didn't deserve everything" i said as she nodded, "but then you would've not been with joey" she said as i nodded biting the side of my cheek

joeys pov:
"yes i'll marry you" y/n's sweet voice said as i looked around, i've been trapped in this dark place for what seemed hours, "y/n?" i called as i walked to the door near me, i pulled it open as i saw y/n with scott, i saw her contagious smile as my eyebrows furrowed

scott grabbed her hand as i clenched my jaw, i shook my head walking to scott, i tried punching him as my hand only went through his body, as if he was a ghost, i walked to y/n as i grabbed her cheek, at least i tried to

my hands slipped past her skin as i gulped, "baby" i whispered as she soon disappeared, i walked out the room entering another, "i understand but babe he's basically dead" a voice said as i shook my head, "joey isn't dead" y/n said as i furrowed my brows

"y/n baby im here" i cried as i tried pulling her body to mine, "your marrying scott move on" the voice continued as it drove me crazy, "i'm not dead" i yelled as the didn't hear me, "two days and you'll be married" it said again as i yelled

"i'm not dead" i yelled repeatedly as i put my head in my hands sobbing
