y/n's pov:
we were on our way to visit joey, not one day goes by without joey on my mind, i can't let him leave. i want him to know that i'm always here waiting for him to wake up

i walked in the hospital with liam and scott as liam had his pacifier in his mouth as his eyes slowly closed, i smiled as he was so cute, i walked into room 17 as i sighed seeing joey in his bed again

i put liam's car seat on a chair near me as scott walked next to joey too, i looked up at scott as his eyes filled with tears again, it looks like it really hurts to see him in the hospital bed like this

i walked to joey as i grabbed his hand, would joey want me to marry his brother? i told scott i'd think about it and he agreed. i don't like scott but i think it's a good that we help each other with the pain

i sat next to joey as i kissed his hand, "wake up baby please" i cried as i wiped a tear, "i just had liam, he's so adorable, but i really needed you there, i know he's not yours i just wanted you to feel the happiness that roamed the room" i whispered

"i know you'll be an amazing dad to him i just need you to wake up okay, can you do that for me?" i told him as i caressed his cheek before kissing his lips, i played with his hair as i pulled away walking to the door as i saw the doctor

"hey is joey okay?" i asked, "mr.birlem is fine we are just concerned, it's been 5 months and joey hasn't awaken, nor showed any sign of life, i know it's hard but maybe it's time to give up hope" he said as i gulped

"i'm sorry but no, i know joey will wake up, he's so strong doctor he will make it out alive" i fold him, "i know it's just are you willing to pay mrs.birlem? after the fifth month you pay $1,000 per month" he raised a brow, "i understand and i agree" i said as he nodded

"i know he can do his" i said as he nodded, i swallowed the lump in my throat as i walked back to joey, i can't after five months he hasn't shown no sign of life

"what'd they say?" scott asked, "the same, they want me to disconnect him" i said as he furrowed his brows, "no why?" he said as i nodded, "well first of all there's no sign of life and second it's getting more expensive" i wiped a tear

"it's okay i'll pay for the expensives" he said as i shook my head, "no i'll pay for them it's okay, i just want you to know something" i said as he looked up, "what is it?" he asked

"i'll marry you" i said as his eyes shined with happiness
