joeys pov:
we drove around for what felt forever, but no sign of liam or madeline, "we aren't getting anywhere" landon said as i nodded, "where did that fucker take them!" i banged on the steering wheel. then landons phone went off, we turned to look at him. "it's scott" he said as i gulped, "answer it!" i said as he nodded answering it on speaker

"hello?" he said, "hello landon, it's your best friend" he said as landon laughed, "shut the fuck up! where are the kids" he said, "woah woah don't talk to me like that, remember i have all the power in my hands" he said as it made my blood boil just to hear his voice.

"i have them, they're safe, actually no they aren't" he laughed again, "i'll give you the address hm? you come here alone, not with joey, not with y/n, by your fucking self like you were months ago" he said, "yeah yeah send me it" landon said as he powered off the call. he turned to me, "he wants me alone" he said as i nodded, "i'll follow you from afar, you go alone in a car" i said as he nodded

we stopped by his house grabbing his car, "okay he sent it, twenty minutes away" he said as i nodded, "it's in the woods?" i said, "yeah i guess so?" he shrugged as i nodded getting into the car, we started our engines as we drove to the location.

xavier and i stayed afar as he got there quicker, i could see scott's dumb ass figure from where we stood, he greeted landon happily grabbing his arm pulling him into a abandoned building.

landons pov:
"well well i guess you listened, check that off" scott said to his guard next to him, my jaw clenched in desperation and anger, "where are they" i spat, "okay here's the plan landon" he said as we walked into a bulging shaped as a circle, open inside. "inside there are both kids, one is yours and the other well is my brothers" he shrugged. "they are both attached to bombs, you'll start here" he said as we stood afar from them

i could see both cages covered with a silk blanket, "how do i know which one is which?" i asked, "well you'll just have to guess" he laughed as i looked clearly. "thirty seconds my friend, pick wisely as the other will, well blow up to pieces" he shrugged. i gulped, how was i going to do it? "thirty seconds, good luck, they start now!" he said as i ran as fast as i could.

i arrived pretty quickly, i pulled both blankets off as my son was on the left and joeys daughter on the right, i ran to madeline as i pulled on the ropes, the beeping stopped as i sighed, i ran to liams, "landon your here!" he said as i smiled, my son, "yes buddy!" i smiled as i tried to pull the ropes, but they didn't stop, i gulped as i couldn't, i pulled with all my force as the bomb came with me i grabbed it, "i love you buddy" i said before running with it into the afar

seconds later it exploded and everything went black

joeys pov:
we speeded into the building as smoke began to arise, we found scott as he laughed, "that fucker really thought they'd live" i heard him say before i punched him, "joey, i knew you'd come" he said licking his own blood, "but you came too late" he laughed as i punched him again and again, til his eyes were forced shut.

he grabbed his fun from under the grass as he shot me, making me fall off him

y/n's pov:
"pete" i gasped as i felt my heart crush into two, "yes ma'am" he said rushing to me, "i feel it, something happened to joey" i breathed as he shook his head, "he's okay ma'am xavier went with him" he reassured me as i nodded, pulling away

minutes later the door opens as liam comes running in, "mama!" he ran, "baby" i cried as i pulled him into my arms crying, tears ran down my eyes. "your okay baby" i said as he nodded, madeline came in with xavier as i brought her off his arms, "princess" i said kissing her cheek as she giggled, i looked up to xavier. "what's wrong?" i asked as he looked down

i gulped, my world came crashing down, tears left my eyes as xavier held me up, "nooo!!" i shouted falling to the floor
