Jake and I were in his room. I was on his bed while he sat on the chair, close to me. Should I tell him? Gosh, I don't know. What if he actually helps out. Yes, he likes me right? He'd understand. Just​ like Mom and dad.

"Jake just know, that whatever I'm gonna tell you right now is my secret. It's a huge secret and honestly, I can't predict your reaction. I'm scared that if I tell you, you... "

"Blue," he said putting his hands on my knee, "Trust me. How bad can your secret be? Besides, I'd love you no matter what."

"Jake?"

"I'm right here."

" I'm Blue Hathaway."

"You've established that fact a long time ago. Was that it?"

"I'm a Hathaway. You...shit. Can I get a glass of water?"

"Sure."

When he left, I started panicking. I was gonna tell him. I'm doing it. Am I? I am.

He walked in, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I am."

"Can you talk? I hope I'm not stressing you or anything?"

"Sure."

"Alright let's continue then?"

"Yeah," I said and looked at him. "I'm a Hathaway, like, Jordan Cameron's wanted Hathaway." Yeah way to get it straight to the point.

"What do you mean?" He asked, still acting normal.

"You know the Cameron's?"

"Everybody knows the Cameron's Blue, I'm not an exception."

"Then you must have heard that Jordan was looking for Hathaways from a particular lineage...mine. He's used all his power to subdue us an make run for our lives. The lawyers we've tried to hire are bribed at the end and we never got justice. My dad was just taken...and it caused a lot of problems in my academic work, so I decided to stay away from you guys. I'm sorr-"

"What?! You're joking Blue. You are right? Don't mess with me."

"No I'm not! I'm serious. Jake I don't want you to tell anyone please."

"Blue, dammit! That's so hard to take in at once. You're... No no no no. This can't be possible. I'm so sorry Blue, I can't help out."

"Look, you can. Just convince your paren-"

"My what?! You want my parents killed? Though I'm not fond of them, how could you think that. Cameron's are gonna find you, and you can't be here. You need to leave."

"What?!"

"You need to Blue. My family doesn't want anything to do with the Camerons."

"But you just said you loved me Jake." I said in tears. Someone who just confessed to me 5minutes ago is turning me down just because of my secret?

I really shouldn't have told him. God!

"Blue... I erm... It was a prank. Leave, right now. You can't be here. Don't let me call the cops. Or worse, Jordan."

"Jake? You..."

"Move right now Blue. Out!"

Immediately, I ran as fast as I could. My secret is out. My family secret is out. Worse, to the one person I thought would understand me. Secrets are really not meant to be shared. That's why it's called a secret.

But my stupidity blind folded me, but removed the blind fold only after I had entered inside a boiling water. How helpful was that.

The Camerons will get you! They will. That's all I could hear.

Jake's words hurt even more. Out! He had said.

Love is fake, so fake. I can't believe I really trusted this guy. I can't believe...

I entered a taxi a went home immediately. My mom wasn't around an I thanked God a thousand times for that.

With that, I went to bed, anxious of what I would expect in school. Am I dead? Or am I dead dead?
