Leaving Scarlett after the day they had was tough but Elliott knew this meeting had to go off without error if they didn't want to go to war with the ingrates calling themselves a club. Myra has shown up not long after they got back home and Pete, who was definitely showing promise as a productive member of the club, had posted up in the living room. Elliott had asked him to stay the night not knowing what time they would get back.

Now they were on their way to the meeting about an hour outside of town. Zac rode  to his left, Tack and Klutch taking the lead. His nerves were shot and his anger wasn't doing much to help him stay level headed. As they passed the next county's jurisdiction sign he knew they were getting close and began to ready himself.

They sat in the parking lot of an old run down gas station around 10:30 when the bastards pulled up. The kid brought with him only one other guy which Elliott thought to be a stupid move. It was a sign that the kid trusted them enough not to bring back up. Elliott could blow off that smug grin and all of this would be over.

"Tack." The boy stated as he dismounted his bike. No respect at all, not even a handshake.

"Let's make this quick kid. What are you gunning for?" Tack was stern, intimidating to most but the kid put on a big show of not being phased.

"Now now old man, this is my meeting, I'll run it how I want to." The smug smile hadn't left his face. Elliott stayed calm and watch Tack. The man had a gift. It was obvious, probably only to Elliott, how he was assessing the situation. Taking everything into account and memorizing all the important details, anything that might be beneficial to them later.

"Cut the shit biker brat, what the fuck do you want?" Tack spat.

"It's simple really, I want my suppliers back, and I want a cut of your profits." At this tack laughed.

"Are you fucking serious? Kid, the shit doesn't work that way. Your suppliers pulled out of you. For one, we can't just ask them nicely to come back. And two, don't you still owe them? Why the hell would they start pushing product to someone who can't keep it out of their noses? I know your old man raised you smarter than this."

"Figure out a way to have our suppliers reinvest or we move in and take them by force."

"Don't make empty threats boy. You grew up in the life, you know what you're up against." Tack spoke smoothly knowing we did have an upper hand, not only in numbers but also in support.

"I'll be seeing you old man." This was the biggest waste of time Elliott had every seen. The kid was a moron.

After the two ragged bikes pulled out of the lot Tack turned to them, the look on his face surprised Elliott, he was smiling. "Looks like we've got a war on our hands boys, and it's going to be fun."

Elliott nodded to Zac who was already giving Tack a devilish grin, the psycho, he fed off of this shit.

"Are we calling in the Calvary?" Klutch asked laughing

"I don't think their is a need, but we could use the extra hands for now until they learn their place. They hit another house and I take a loss and I'll kill the kid myself." Tack mounted his bike and revved the engine, Elliott smiled, Tack got off on this shit too. He didn't know what Tack has seen but it was enough to give him confidence that they had nothing to worry about.

The ride back was much more relaxed than the ride up. Elliott didn't worry because he trusted his president. Which meant he could relax and enjoy his time with Scarlett without her worrying.

It was after midnight when they drove into the club. Tack had sent out a mass text to the guys who weren't already there and called Church for in the morning to brief everyone of the situation.

Elliott knew it was late and that he had Pete plan to stay at Scarlett's but he couldn't stay away. He was in a good mood and he needed his girl. His girl. He never thought he'd ever say that again.

Pulling into the drive he was impressed to see Pete standing at the door, gun drawn and hanging by his side. The kid would be patched, Elliott would make sure of it.

"Just me Petey, you're free to go."

"Alright boss. Y'all have a good night." Pete said as he mounted his bike waving to Scarlett who had now replaced him in the door way.

Elliott approached her slowly, taking her in. She was beautiful, even wearing sweats with her hair pulled up into some kind of floppy knot on top of her head.

"Hey handsome." She said smoothly. "I thought you were staying at the club?"

"I couldn't stay away baby" he said pressing his lips to hers softly. He picked her up and her legs instinctively wrapped around his waist. It didn't matter how late is was, he carried her to bed and lost himself in every square inch of her body.
