He wasn't dead. The mother fucker wasn't dead. The club had put one of its own in the ground, had almost lost another and Screw was still breathing. Living on borrowed time, Elliott thought, because it was going to be him who made sure that time came to an end as soon as humanly possible. As they had been seated around the large wooden table in the clubs back room Tack made sure everyone knew that they would bide their time. Wait for the dipshit to emerge from the hospital. Then they would tear he and his club limb from limb strategically. At that moment, that's not what Elliott needed. Not what any of them wanted to hear. They were ready for war. Ready to massacre the Hell Rangers until there wasn't a single one left breathing. They all knew Tack was right in his plans, but it didn't extinguish the red hot anger that burned inside all of them. All of them left church unsatisfied.
Now Elliott sat alone on the top step of Scarlett's front porch, watching cars pass, the lit cigarette in his hand wafting smoke into the air clouding his vision briefly. Unlike his apartment, LCs house had always been comforting, it was a home, it was calming. Calm is what he needed, what he craved. He begged his mind to shut down but it raced through all the potential outcomes of the shooting, of both shootings. Elliott hadn't had anything to fear in so long, he had forgotten what weakness was. But now he had Scarlett and the fear of losing her, the way he lost Katie, so suddenly and unexpectedly, it made him sick. It made him murderous.
Just as he was taking another drag, another desperate attempt to calm his nerves, the front door opened and light spilled out onto the front yard. Her presence poured onto the front steps before she even sat down next to him. He took in a breath and the smell of coconut enveloped him.

"Hi" Scarlett said tentatively placing a hand on his arm.

"Hey baby." He said bumping shoulders with her making her smile that infectious smile.

"Are you okay?"

"Yea sugar I will be. Just thinking." Just her presence silenced his demons. She knew when he needed her. "We should talk" he said turning to meet her eyes. They changed in that moment, worry crossed her face, and he hated that was her first reaction. "Screw is still alive. This shit isn't over." He said gritting his teeth.

She leaned into him but kept quiet as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"I need you to be safe. I can't lose you. I won't. I won't survive losing someone else I love." Elliott could feel himself choke on the last word. He hadn't know he was going to say it but after he did, he realized how much he actually meant it. He wouldn't ever survive going through what he went through losing Katie. He felt Scarlett's hand wrap around the back of his neck.

"Elliott, you aren't going to lose me." Scarlett said wiping a tear from her cheek. He knew out of everyone, she understood what he couldn't say. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here."

Elliott turned back to her quickly pulling her into his arms, needing to feel her, they were nose to nose now. "I need you to stick around because I plan on calling you my old lady some day." He said quietly.

"Is that so Mr. Wilde?" She said, the corner of her mouth turning up into a smirk.

"That is so Ms. Tucker." He said letting out a small chuckle. He leaned in and kissed her, consuming her lips and delving into her with everything he had, claiming her in every way he could while sitting on the front step of her home. Until it wasn't enough.

Elliott brought them both up, pulling her with him through the open door of the house and into the living room. He left kisses trailing down her cheek to her jaw and continued down her neck as they made their way stumbling through the hall knocking pictures off their hooks. They left a trail of clothing across the bedroom floor. Elliott tossed his shirt over his head as he came down to settle on top of her on the bed. He kissed down her chest, in between her breast and down her stomach to her navel where his tongue left a wet trail lower, lower until he had her writhing off the bed and breathing heavily.

"Elliott..." She trailed off, squirming under the touch of his hands and mouth. He delved in between her legs causing her to let out a moan as his tongue lapped over her most sensitive spot. He sucked and kneaded until she was coming apart around him and her hands were laced through his hair pulling him closer. When he came back up, he reveled in the sight of her. Her face covered with lust, her eyes burning into him with need. His. And he told her so as he climbed over her and settled himself between her thighs entering her with haste.

"You are mine Scarlett, I love you." He said as he thrust into her roughly.

"Yes Elliott.. yours" her orgasm ripped through her as her nails dug into his back and she ground against him riding out her release. Watching her tense and move against him had him close to his own release. He pushed into her twice more taking himself over the edge. He grunted his release as he towered above her, watching her connect with him.

They laid together now still connected as Scarlett's hands brushed through his hair.

"I love you too Elliott." She said quietly, still in a orgasm induced daze. He leaned up on one elbow looking down at her, mesmerized by all that was his beautiful girl. He leaned in and kissed her softly relishing the moment, until a deep growl tore through it.

"I better feed you, I know how women get when they are hungry." He said waggling his eyebrows.

She laughed pulling away from him and sitting up. "Probably a good idea"
