I pounded my fist on the metal table when I saw Maya enter back into the Glade that day. With just a broken arm.

"You promised she would be dead." A male voice demands behind me and I spin around to see Dr. Fitzgerald.

"I thought she would be." I grunted. "She was supposed to die."

"And then you told A5 your plans to get Maya in the maze. Could you be anymore of an idiot?"

"Listen here, Fitzgerald. That was my mission. I did whatever the hell I wanted-"

"And you failed, Eleanor." He takes a deep breath. "I want her dead within six months."

"You got it, Doc." I walked out of the room, making sure my shoulder bumped into his.

I watched the screen carefully as Newt hugged Maya to his chest. I despise it. Everyone but that stupid girl can clearly see that Newt caught feelings for her. If only he hadn't woken her up, that dream could have killed her. This is to damn hard to do it from the outside.

But if I go in again, they will clearly know it is me.

And I can't trust anyone else to do it correctly.

It has to be me.

"Are you seriously still trying to kill her?" I turned around to see Thomas standing in the doorway, a small grin on his face. "That dream was never going to work anyways. Not with her sleeping in Newt's room."

"And why not, Thomas?" I asked slowly. Thomas is one of my friends, but I hate it when people tell me I am wrong. Trust me, I already know.

"You planted that metal piece in her head before she went down right?" I nodded. "You planned on using that to fry her brain in the dream right? And it would have happened if her mother had finished her name?" I nodded again.

"It wasn't going to work with Newt laying five feet away from her. Not when he is practically in love with her."

"Shut up, Thomas." I grunt and turn back around to see that Maya had fallen asleep leaning against Newt. "Are you going to give me a new idea or no?"

"No." Then he walked out of the room. I groaned and slammed my head on the table.
