Chapter 12

I had moved in with Veronica and Betty a few days ago. Though tonight I was stay the night with Archie when my phone went off.

"Who is calling at 3 am?" Archie questions.

"I dont know." I say and lifted up my phone.

"Who is it?" He asks.

"Its Victor." I say.

"Jade, why is this old man calling you so late?" He asks.

"I dont know. He only said he would call in if there was an emergency. I should answer him." I say.

I went to grab my phone and Archie then took my phone away from me.

"He can wait till morning and by morning I mean at least 9 or 10 am." He says.

"Fine." I say.

I resnuggled into my boyfriend and then around 10 I got up and called Victor back.

Phone Call

Victor: Good you finally called me back. I have news huge news.

Jade: Well what is it?

Victor: You know how I told you it was like someone was breaking any signal I put up. Well anyway I finally got through. It could be only a couple months until we can send a message.

Jade: Well thats great. Look I gotta go my boyfriend is looking at me. I'll come and see you next week with Nana Rose.

Victor: Well okay. I gotta go more work to do.

End Phone Call.

"Dont give me that look Mr. I was just told that A message could be sent out in maybe a couple months." I say.

"Well thats good news, but can I ask you something? Its kind of about this whole thing." Archie says.

"Sure." I say.

"What if Jesslynn isnt in space anymore? Or worse what if she isnt alive anymore?" He questions.

"So you think she either came back or died?" I ask.

"I know its sounds horrible, but its just a few things that could of happened after almost five years ago." He says.

I walked over to him wrapping my arms around him and kissed him roughly.

"I love you Archie." I say.

"I love you, but why did you just kiss me like that?" He asks.

"Because just I love you and because your the only one that never made fun of me for thinking Jess was taken. So even though what you said was alittle grim, but its sweet you never joked about what happened back then." I say.

"I know. People gave you a hard time and still kind of do, but I do actually believe you. Im not just saying it because your my girlfriend, but because you were never one to lie. Maybe being a pain in the butt and a brat at times, but you were never a liar." He says.

"And this is why I love you Archie." I say.

"So who is gonna be the face of this message? Nana Rose or This Victor Man?" He asks.

"Me actually, but when it comes to the time when the message has to be sent would you come with me? Im gonna ask the others too, but would you go with me?" I ask.

"Of course if it means I support you then I will do just that." He says.

I know some people dont believe me about the Aliens, but Im glad the one person I love most is the one who believes in me and what I have believed in for all these years.
