Into The Night [Mafiatale Sans x Reader]

Part 12- Final gunshot

*a/n: I'm so sorry sweethearts for not finishing this sooner. Honestly had alot of other things going on in my life and kinda forgot about it. I hope this super long final update will be worth it. Thank you so much for all the support!*

It is finally time.. Time to finally get revenge. 

After hours of being downstairs  Asgore slowly returned to the living room fixing his sleeves of his button up shirt. His tie was undone and just hanging lazily around his neck. Sans had sat up straight seeming to want to ask him, how it went but, Asgore sent a look over at him. Sans sat back with a huff, he knew that look from years of experience. Asgore didn't seem to speak until he was finished fixing his attire  slipping his jacket back over his shoulders. Once his appearance back to normal, he brushed off his shoulders while he looked to the group pf onlookers from the living room. 

"So.. did he talk?" Sans says slowly sitting up on the sofa once again, this time trying to remain composed. His energy was almost completely back to normal, apparent with the lights in his sockets were going back to their florescent white.

"Hn." Asgore says as he walks in the room buttoning up his sleeves and he steps back and sits in Toriel's chair. He seemed to be basting in the feeling of the soft chair for a moment. "It took some.. persuasion but, they finally caved in and gave us all the info we needed."  

This made Sans take a sigh of relief and sit back into the couch again. "perfect. So what's the game plan boss?"  Everyone waited anxiously for the King to explain what their next few moves were. Asgore pulled out a cigar, lighting it with fire magic.

"First thing is first, you have to get a fully recovery. I need you at your best for this mission to succeed." Asgore said puffing out a plume of smoke. 

Sans nodded in acknowledgement. "Yes, of course. Hell I'll be ready to go in a few more hours. The faster we take care of this bastard the better." Asgore puffed another cloud of smoke in agreement. Sans took a moment and looked at you with a serious gaze. "I would like you to stay put this time. It was so reckless for you show up li-"

"(Y/n) will be coming along as well." Asgore spoke up stopping Sans' lecture. 

"Wh- Why?" Sans quickly responded to Asgore, standing with clenched fists trying to mask his obvious agitation rising in his voice. 

Asgore gave Sans a look warning him, causing Sans to curse under his breathe and sank back into a defeated stance. You stood up next to Sans softly taking his hand in yours, giving it a comforting squeeze. Sans sighs nodding, as he gestured to Asgore to continue.

"I'm aware you are concerned for their safety but, (Y/n) will be necessary to get into the human's stronghold. I was informed that he is a man of power within the city. He owns one of the larger companies in the city. Not, as powerful as mine but, I digress. " Asgore turns the chair towards the others putting out his cigar, a serious look on his face. "So here is the plan.."

A few hours have passed since then the meeting with Asgore, (Y/n) gulped softly worried on how this plan with work. However there you stood outside the tall building that you had visited a few times before, clenching your fists tight urging you to move forward. The mission ahead was a simple one: get to the man's office and distract him for a while. Sans and the others will infuriate the building shortly after and take out the subordinates under him. Asgore would do his work from his building he will be working with Alyphs to quickly sink his business. Freeing clients from his debts, cutting his ties to other big and important corporations he had a grip on. Even wiring all the money he had to a secret bank Asgore had control of.
