U.A. School boundaries, after test...

Denki exited the gate and walked toward one of the walls next to the entrance. He backed up into the wall, leaned onto it, closed his eyes, and started thinking. He was waiting for his friend, Kyouka Jirou, since they were going home the same way and you might as well travel with someone you know than alone. Denki started sinking deeper into thought... "Well, based on scoring alone, I probably got in, no problem. And I'm willing to bet Kyouka did, too. Not that I care, anyways." Denki thought. "Wait, no, I'm lying, I do care, she's a friend  after all, shouldn't I be more supportive of her-" His thoughts were cut short by a girl running in front of him and smiling, "Hey, Kaminari!! What's up?" "Oh, hey Kendo, nothing much, how about you?" Kendo stood tall and looked at him with an unreadable expression, "Oh, nothing much, just wanted to say hey and see what your reaction would be, you seemed lost in thought." "Yeah,I've got a lot on my mind." Denki sighed in response, looking down at his feet. He was tired and really wanted to go home. Where was Kyouka? "Like what?" Denki raised his head to look at Kendo. She always seemed so proactive and happy, even now she was beaming at him with a smile on her face. Then he remembered. "Like... your leg. How is it doing, it looked seriously damaged back there." "Oh, it's doing fine, Recovery Girl fixed it up in no time." "Oh, that's good then." "Where do you go to get home?" She asked. Denki looked at her for a moment. She looked completely energized, even though she should be seriously drained by the healing. And yet, here she was, barraging him with questions. He admired girls like that, or people like that for that matter. The people who always put their whole energy into being better heroes and people and trying to make this world a better place, were, in his opinion, the real cool people. But, reality reminded that not everyone was like that, that even he wasn't special like them. Being motivated by nothing but making his dead parents proud, take that away... and he was nothing. "If an ideal illusion was Kendo, then someone as disgusting as me would be reality." "Hey Denki, are you alright? You kinda stared at me for a good while." Kendo asked, smirking. "I know I'm beautiful, but your taking it to another level." "Oh, was I? Sorry, I got lost in thought." He rubbed the back of his head and looked away, red with embarrassment. "Thinking about the exams, huh?" She took a spot next to him on the wall. "Yeah, I get you, after all, this is probably the biggest test everyone's ever taken." "Actually, the biggest test I had was when the headmaster at my school threatened to expel me if I failed another history test... you better believe I got a good grade." Denki replied, smiling in amusement. Kendo laughed at him. Denki glanced at her from the corner of his eye. "She looked really beautiful when she laughs..."

Kyouka stood still behind the wall that Denki and Kendo were leaning on the other side. Sh listened to everything they said. She had been standing there for a long time, she had gotten here just after Kendo but hid once she started talking to Denki. "Why am I doing this? Why am I just listening? Why not just go out and tell Denki to go home? No, that would make it seem that we're an item, wouldn't it, WOULDN'T IT?" She didn't even know why they were talking. They were supposed to never have met each other before, but here they were talking as if they'd known each other for years. Like Kendo was Denki's best friend... Kyouka shook her head. "No, no, no, they probably met each other during the entrance exam and started bonding. Yeah! That makes sense!" She smiled and nodded her head, pleased with herself that she was smart enough to stay calm and assess the situation. She walked out of the hiding spot as nonchalantly as possible. "After all, he is my Denk- I mean, best friend." Kyouka walked up and smiled at both Denki and Kendo, who seemed to be in a very funny conversation, as they were both laughing. "Hey Kaminari, let's go home now." Denki, didn't hear her and continued to talk to Kendo. "HE IGNORED MEEEEEEE!!!!!" She kept smiling but started to grimace in frustration. "Hey Jirou-dude, what's up with the face?" Denki asked. "Kyouka!! Long time no see." Kendo exclaimed, beaming as usual. "Hey Kendo, it's good to see you, too. Ok Kami, let's go home now." Kyouka replied quickly. "Wait, so you know Kaminari?? Wow, that's seriously cool! You're really lucky to have met him, why didn't you introduce him to us sooner? And by the way to talk to him, is he your boyfriend?" Kendo winked suggestively. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I don't like her that way." He looked at Kendo and smiled. "Oh, okay, sorry for the false assumption." Kyouka kept a straight face, but inside her heart cringed as the statement sunk in. "He didn't have to say it like that though, it hurts my heart." Kyouka nodded her heard in agreement(not really), "Besides the point, it's high time we headed home, Kami." "Where'd you guys go to get home?" Kendo asked. Again, inside Kyouka wanted to strangle her soooooo bad, not because Kyouka didn't like her, but because she wanted alone time with Kaminari on the ride back, but she kept it in. "Shaganshima station all the way to Eastern Hosu City suburbs." "Wow, what a coincidence, I use that route as well! Can I ride with you guys?" "Sure" Denki and Kendo smiled at each other. Kyouka, on the other hand, balled her hands into fists in frustration. "What in the actual HELL, Kaminari? The train ride was our alone time to talk and now you let her in? What happened to us? Ugggghhhhhh." Kyouka thought. "Is that okay with you, Kyouka?" Denki asked, with both of them looking at her. How could she say no? On their way to the station, Kyouka felt as if she was third-wheeling, which felt horrible. She felt ignored and unseen by her own best friend, who was oblivious to the pain and kept talking in a happy tone with his new friend. "How humiliating..." She thought. They reached the station, bought the tickets, got onto the train, and... both of them kept talking. Kyouka sighed. It was gonna be a long train ride back...
