Denki knew who he had next; the uncorruptable class representative, Iida Tenya. Denki bore no harsh feelings towards the bespectacled son of the Iida hero family. To Denki, he was just another obstacle. He gazed at the battle unfolding below, TetsuTetsu versus Kirishima. It was quite the redundant battle, and neither would let up. After a while, it became increasingly boring to watch. But his attention was secretly on the person next to him, Kyouka.

She looked irritated and frustrated. It was to be expected, being only 1 place out of contedning for the top spot. But to this extent? Denki took a long glance. She was staring intently at the fight as if disecting and anylzing it.

"Kyouka," Denki whispered, careful not to be heard by anyone else.

Kyouka jumped and went a slight tinge of red.

"W-what is it, Denki?" she whispered back, still not looking at him.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly.
"I don't know what you mean," Kyouka replied.
"You seem angry, frustrated, do need some help?" Denki asked her, his voice sincere.
Kyouka tensed up at this. He had brought up the thing she didn't want to talk about; her failure.

"Yes, I'm fine," she replied curtly.

"Are you sure?" Denki asked, a tad more inquisitively.

"Yes, Kaminari, leave me alone now," she snapped, "You know nothing, you wouldn't understand anyways, you idiot of a lightning user, Kaminari," she added as she cut off the conversation, frustration dripping from every syllable. "Who are you anyways, to lecture me?!"

But on the opposite end of the spectrum was a hurt Denki. His heart dropped as he realized that? she had called him by his last name. She was definitely mad. They continued in silence, but Kyouka was coming to resent her mistake. She opened her mouth to apologize.

"Denki, I-"

"Say less, Jirou. If that's how it is now, I'll take it like that, you needn't be so harsh,"Denki replied, standing up to leave, "Just because YOU lost doesn't mean I have, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sorry for getting in your way."As he was about to leave, he looked at her crestfallen face, his face emotionless and blank. She looked pained, as if she was about to cry. Deep inside, he felt his heart twinge, but he was far to deep in anger to care.

"I'm sorry for being a nuisance,Jirou," Denki told her, walking off, his aura more daunting than before.

Jirou looked after him, regret and remorse building up. She had let her frustration out on someone who cared about her. Worst of all, it was Denki. As he left the doorway, she felt her heart burn as she couldn't imagine life without him.

"I'm so sorry, Denki..."

As soon as Denki stepped into the waiting room, he felt a wave of regret an shame come over him. He could picture her heartbroken face at his sudden lash of retaliation. It hurt him so that she would do him like that, that she would snap at him for such a little thing. And perhaps, too, he had been too harsh. He resolved to put it behind him for now, and to focus on the daunting task at hand. Denki knew he could never compete with Iida in terms of speed; he would tire after a few bursts.

He could try and immobilize him but to do that he had to concentrate on his target in order to strip them of their kenetic energy and bind them in place. This meant the had to stay relatively still for a moment, which Iida would certainly not do. And waiting out Iida's burst would certain defeat. Denki then thought about a indiscriminate discharge to cover the whole battle ground and electrocute him... no, the amount of energy would certainly knock him into a dunce mode and effectively crown Iida as the winner.
