Chapter Twenty Nine

The Distant and Left Behind

I bounced a rubber ball off the wall of the cave. Zade, Daisy, Alicia, Skylar and I sat in the 'upstairs' part of our little cave home. Sarah was with Elliot downstairs, and East had the rest of the adults out doing a perimeter check. They were worried as to why the search teams haven't reported in yet.

Jeff's last call in was a few hours ago. While Seth's was more recent. Ryder was on the microphone and he mentioned something about how he found others. People who weren't chipped and he was bringing them back. This of course sent everyone into a panic.

"Do you think they found Ebow?" Daisy asked. I bounced the ball off the wall.

"Who cares?" I spoke without making eye contact with anyone else in the room. Alicia and Daisy sat next to each other on one of the beds, Alicia was reading a Manuel that Karma gave her, Zade was leaning against a wall and Skylar sat on her father's bed across the room.

"Excuse me?" Skylar spoke standing up from her father's bed and walking over to me.

"I said that if Ebow wants to leave us, then we should let him. It's his own fault for being a dumbass and breaking the rules. I vote we just move" I spoke.

"How could you say that!" Skylar shouted getting up in my face. "Ebow is having some issues with our father, he was pissed off and he cares about you! He would never say those things about you!" Skylar spoke poking at my chest.

"At least he has a father to have issues with" I mumbled.

"Oh boo who" Daisy spoke standing up from the bed and walking over to me.

"Dead parents sucks, I know. But lumping around and complaining about it ain't gonna do anything about it. Cyblow may be dead, but he may not be. If he was dead then he would want his death to MEAN something." Daisy spoke to me.

I laughed. "What? Like your doing any better? Have you seen us? WE ARE LIVING IN A CAVE! Daisy, your parents died for nothing, as did Zade's" 

"I don't remember my parents" Zade corrected to me.

"Well whatever! Your master then, your master got captured and is now licking the gum from the Creator's and Kiera's toes because we are all here sitting on our asses" I shouted.

"Alright, enough of your shit" Zade spoke getting off the wall and drawing his sword.

"OH! What are you gonna do? Stab me-" I taunted but surely enough Zade swung at me, I ducked the attack and stood back up.

"Alright" I spoke raising my fists. "Let's tango jackie chan" I spoke jumping back and fourth.

Zade jumped at me with his blade but I jumped to the side, I kicked him in the leg and grabbed him into a hold. 

"Bet your master would be ashamed of you right now" I spoke to him, he gritted his teeth and pushed himself back and fourth trying to break free of my grip. I looked up at the girls, and saw a werewolf fist flying towards my face. 

Daisy's punch knocked me off my feet and onto my back. Daisy walked over to me and grabbed my shirt's collar getting ready for another punch.

"HEY!" A voice shouted. Daisy dropped me.

We all looked over to see Alicia standing on the other side of the room.

"What the hell are you doing?" Alicia asked.

"Kicking Tyson's ass" Daisy grumbled walking back over to the bed.

"Is this how you guys want to fight the Creator? Are you joking? This is exactly what he wants, why do you think he is brainwashing people instead of simply killing us? It's mind games, he wants to us to turn against each other. Jesus and you guys are punching each other knowing your not chipped. Are you insane?" Alicia asked.
