14. Breakout and Travel

SETH

I walk around backstage to look for Leighla or Nikki or whoever I see first.

"Looking for me?" Someone talks from behind that made me look back.

"Leighla"

"Guessed it right..." She said, closing the gap between us, and hug me.I was stunned at first, but manages to act and hug her back. After a few, I decided to break it first. We stand in front of each other, maybe finding a good timing to talk.

"I've missed you." She finally say.

"Wasn't expecting that, Leigh."

"Wow. You still call me by my name."

"Just comfortable with it."

"Its cute..."

I don't know how to start because first of all, her approach is sweet and caring and humbled. But, I really need to get it all straight.

"Happy to see you back in business."

"I'm here for you."

"What?"

"Colby....." She say, pressing her hand into my shoulder. "I'm here because I thought, its time."

"What do you mean, Leigh?" I ask, as I look at her, really confused.

"Colby, I want us back-"

"No." I say immediately, pushing her hand off my shoulder. She look at me a bit confused, then suddenly smiles again.

"Colby, I know you're still upset but I just wanna tell you that I'm here, ready for you know..."

"Leigh,you've misunderstood-"

"What are you talking about?"

"Look..." I sigh, looking for some words to start with. "I'm sorry if you thought I'm upset.. Yes, I was upset. But, that was before. And we both need to move on. Okay?"

"No! Listen to me here, Colby..."

"Leigh, stop it.. I'm sorry but like I said, I've moved on. A'ight? I accepted the fact that you've left me and I'm hope that we've made the best decisions for us."

"Colby, you're my best decision. Okay? You are.." She was about to approach me when I decide to step back, looking down at the floor.

"Colby...."

"I'm sorry... I know you came back because of me and not for the belt-"

"So it's really her,huh?"

"W-what?"

"The heck! Why didn't I really see it came back?"

"Leigh-"

"You still love her, don't you?"

"Leighla"

"Guess I've had the answer."

"I've watch how you hurt Nikki at that ring. And it hurts me so much to see her in pain, and I got to do nothing..."

"Wow."

"......"

"You won't stop me now, Colby... You won't.."

And just like that, she stormed out of the area, leaving me a bit hurt yet, ease because I was able to tell her my true feelings.

NIKKI

"What the hell was that, Stephanie!?" I started, storming to Steph's office. She was surprise to see me but then, smirks after.

"It's called business, Nikki."
