24. Emotion

Its been a week already since Colby decides to come and visit us every day, exactly 9 am. It was kind of a hobby to wait for him outside, of course with Sean.

"Hey Sean." He carries the baby out of my hands, rocking it. Sean hold Colby's face and then, laughs. He's been doing that ever since, and I am happy that were getting along.

Yup, I talked to Colby about it and he's starting to act like a father to Sean and a husband to me.. Yup, pretty awesome right.

"Well, the usual.. Mom and dad's out for work, and JJ to school. So, come in.. Yeah.." I say, opening the door to him. He sits at the sofa as I open the television for him to watch while carrying the baby.

I go into the kitchen, grabbing some snacks. I go back, carrying the food and placing it on the table. I sit right beside him as I change the channel, watching Football.

"So... What now?" He ask while admiring Sean, still holding his face.

"What do you mean?" I ask as I look at him. My heart then throbs a bit faster as I see their connection. He loves Sean, and so is my baby loves his father.

"When are we going to tell Hunter about this?"

"Haven't figured out that yet but maybe soon??"

"Sean's getting one after a few months now.. I think we should probably tell him about this."

"I did try that, but I don't know where to start. Not to mention that you're the father.."

He looks at me and suddenly, leans in for a kiss. I did kiss back for a second and decided to break it, looking at his eyes.

"Now that I'm here, I think we should announce this baby one here, around the world." He say, winking at me.

"We will... But maybe when I go back.."

"I'll be back next week because I still have the belt around my waist, and need to defend it."

"I'm aware of that. And neither do I... And I need to finish Leighla and I's business."

"Oh by the way, how's your leg there?"

"Its better than before. And my doctor said I'd be able to go back to the ring next week."

"That's great news because the last time, Leighla would've gotten that title if it weren't for Brie."

"Yeah.. And I'm lucky that I have Brie."

"That sister of yours is really supportive."

"And so am I to her.. We support each other's back no matter what happens... Oh by the way, JJ's turning 19 tomorrow. The family planned to go outing. Wanna come?"

"You said its a family outing.. So why am I going?"

"Duh, Lopez. Its not like your not a member.."

He looks at me again, amused to what I answered.

"What?"

"Did I heard it right?"

"PSH. Don't come if you don't want to."

"Well, I'm just happy that you're counting me into your life again.. And in your heart soon."

"Do I have a choice?"

"You don't because I'm your husband."

"Were not married yet.."

"I'll marry you. Just wait for it, gorgeous."

"Whatever you say, Lopez."
