32. Move In

NIKKI

It was time for me to go home.. Well, for now.

"I could totally ask Hunter to give me two days, Nicole. We can go home together." He said, sitting in his bed as I pack my stuff.

"There's no need for you to do that, Colby. And besides, you already told me that you'd be having a day off this weekend."

"Yeah. About that.." He said that made me stop packing as I look at him.

"You're not coming home." I say, and I know I've guessed it right. By the looks on his face, I know he's got a full booked schedules ahead.

"Yeah. Technically the director called and wants me to shoot anytime soon."

"That'll be great, Colby.. You should focus on your schedules, okay? Don't worry too much about me. I'll get a flight back home safe-"

"But Nicole-" He stands up, hugging me from behind.. "I want you and Sean to move in with me."

"You mean, in Iowa." I said,surprise at his honesty. I stop packing and turn to him.

"Yeah.. My place there is spacious enough already to start a new family.. And you're my family.. You and Sean."

"Wait, wait. Hold up Colby..." I say, getting a bit nervous at his plans.

"What?" He ask calmly.

"Umm.. I'm not sure.." I honestly want him in my life but, wanting us to move with him in Iowa is a whole different thing.

"Why not?"

"I don't know.. Maybe I'm still not ready?" I ask.

"Nicole, I'll be here. I,honestly am not ready before but now, I'm being serious. I want us to stay there." He say, kissing me.

"But how will we move there? There's a lot to think about, Colby."

"You don't have to worry about anything. My place is completely fine and has all we need, you just need to carry your luggage and Sean with you." He say. "And my mom's expecting you."

"You mean, us?"

"Yeah. And she'd be delighted to hear you'd be moving in."

Colby did ask Hunter about him getting a day or 2 out in the ring, so that we could settle in. I don't wanna be selfish and I don't want to reject his offer. I mean, we can't just live forever in my mom's place. We do need a place where only three of us are there.

After Singapore, we all flew back to LA. It had been almost a week since I lost and right now, I'm very happy to see the Divas getting their ass up, making their own legacy and making a good show.

Finished packing, I decide to open my phone, receiving some messages from John, Paige, Brie and a lot more. Yup, John and I had chatted, not having anything between aside from the friendship we wished for us. I'm already happy with Colby, and he's happy to have Christine as his company in life. We are happy for each other already.

Fr: John Cee
= Heard you'll be out for a long time?

Fr: Fearless
=Yup. I just need some rest and recover from my defeat.

Fr: John Cee
=Then I guess we'll see each other soon?

Fr: Fearless
=Of course John. We will. But right now, I think I'll be focusing on myself for now. No work, no stress.

Fr: John Cee
=Yeah. Couldn't agree more

I was about to reply when somebody just pull my phone out of my hands. Turns out to be Colby.
