21. Surprise

SETH

The phone rings after almost ten seconds and just three rings, Brie answers the phone.

[Hey! Just arrived?]

"Yeah.."

[Well, have you seen Nikki yet?]

"Actually, that's the reason why I called."

[She's not home?]

"No it's-"

[Maybe she didn't really go home in Arizona.]

"No Brie... That's not it."

[Then what?]

"Well.... I don't know your address"

[Really? Rollins...]

"Yeah.. I forgot to ask you."

[What. The. Heck.] She mutters and I let out a chuckle. She did too afterwards, then went silent. She gave me the address afterwards, an soon ended because she is also busy with something.

I go out of bed and went to the bathroom to have a shower. Afterwards, I pick out a black shirt, and a jeans. I paired it up with my maroon Adidas cloudfoam shoes, and grab a jacket because of the cold whether. I also wear my gray beanie with my logo in it, and my glasses. Yes, the normal me. I toss my phone into my pocket, and go out of the room. I found out Joe sitting on the couch, already watching Netflix while eating the jellies on the table.

He looks at me, maybe noticed me.. He stares at me from top to bottom.

"Guess you already knew where her address is."

"Yeah. Brie gave me."

"Well, I'll just stay here. You go now. Goodluck."

"Yeah. Thanks... Whatever."

I close the door behind me, as I enter the elevator, I manage to contact a rental car in this place, and the service is good because in just few minutes, the car arrived.

I press the ground floor and just a few dings, I am out, making my way to the parking lot. The guy gave me the keys and hop inside the car, as I start the engine. When I'm done, I start to hit the busy road.

And to avoid getting missing, I open my GPS.

NIKKI

I woke up from my mom's voice, telling me that I should get ready because we'll be going to pick up JJ from school. So, I go to the bathroom to get showered. Later, I pick a casual black dress, and wore my heels. I blower my hair and just let it down, then wore a light make up, just to look good outside the house.

I go down, seeing mom and dad sitting on the couch, watching some TV Show.

"I might've took long." I say, catching their attention.

"You're beautiful, honey." Mom says standing, and hugging me. I hug back, feeling comfort and contentment. Dad shuts the TV and carries my son. I smile as he carry it with love.

"So, let's go?"

Mom decided to bring a babysitter, so that I won't have to carry my son around. Although I want it, I sometimes borrow it from my babysitter while waiting for my brother.

"I thought he'd be going out by now?" I ask, a little bit impatient.

"He'll be out in a minute. Probably."

Still waiting we decided to tour myself in his school and to be honest, he's studying in a much expenses school than where we study with Brianna.

The bell then suddenly rings, indicating that its time to go home. Students starts to run out of the school building, excited to go home. When we saw JJ, mom waves at him and he got to us. When he sees me, he was really speechless, gulping his own saliva.
