It's been 2 years since I awoke in a fountain surrounded by crystal gems. Everyone else seems to be adjusting to this Earth life, but not me. I just don't get it. I was made to serve Homeworld and my diamond. At least I still have my diamond- I mean "Steven." That's what he prefers to be called. It is strange, but I dare not question my diamond. At least I'm trying to adjust. Some gems refuse this Homeworld-Earth alliance and even go as far as to attack the humans. Peridot, Lapis, Bismuth and I have been protecting the humans from these rogue gems. But it's not like I care what happens. Eventually Lapis and I were able to forgive each other for what happened when we were Malachite. I decide one day to take a walk on the beach to clear my head. "Steven" said that it would make me "feel better." That's when I see her. A young female human sitting by the shoreline. From what I saw, she appeared to have short brunette hair that only went down to the middle of her neck and fair white skin. She wore a simple black T-shirt and black biker shorts. Beautiful, like my diamond.
