My Human, My Jasper (Jasper x OC)

I happily skip back to the temple where Steven and Amethyst immediately greet me with two wide smiles. "Peridot texted us the news" Steven teases "About your date with Jasper." "Yeah, we're going to the Sadie Killer concert together, the one where Lars is gonna propose" I hang up my bag. Amethyst inches closer "So what are you wearing." I shrug "I dunno, maybe my nice flannel?" Steven and Amethyst both gasp. "That's it?" Steven sasses "I don't think so. Amethyst and I will help you get ready for this date." Amethyst chimes in "Yeah, you are going to look so drop dead gorgeous the very sight will make Jasper poof." Before I know it, Steven and I are dragging me around to even clothing store within walking distance and having me try on every outfit they could find. It was a little overbearing but still cute. Eventually we settle on a salmon pink halter dress with translucent shoulder sleeves and a circle hemline.

TIMEJUMP TO THE NIGHT OF THE CONCERT

It's 6:00. I'm in Steven's room as Steven and Amethyst are doing my hair and makeup. "Do we really need all this makeup" I ask concerned. "Don't worry" Amethyst reassures "You still look like a person." Steven puts on the finishing touches "Okay, we're done with your makeup. Do you wanna look?" I grab the mirror out of Steven's hand and look. "Wow" I say astonished "I'm beautiful." Pearl calls from downstairs "Sorry to interrupt but Jasper is here." I put on my dress and sandals, and I head downstairs to see my date looking especially gorgeous in a leather jacket and a bandana on her tied back hair. "You look gorgeous" she says. I blush a little "You too." She nervously laughs a little as she offers her arm "Shall we?" I nod and take her arm as we start walking towards the concert.
