My Human, My Jasper (Jasper x OC)

I get a notification from my phone. It's a text message from an unknown number.

Don't Ask How I got your number. Meet me at the Big Donut. I need your help.

Against my most basic instincts, I decide to meet this person at the Big Donut. When I arrive, I see that pink boy who saved me a while back looking around. Lars. I also see Steven sitting with him. Steven immediately recognizes me and waves "Serena, over here." I sit at the table with them. "Steven" I ask "Did you get a new phone? I got your message." Steven awkwardly laughs before Lars interjects "I sent the text. Steven's idea." I raise my eyebrow "And Steven gave you my number?" Lars nods sheepishly. I sigh "What did you need help with?" Lars blushes a little "I want to propose to Sadie." Steven and I look at each other lighting up and squeeing in excitement. Steven puts on a cheeky grin "So, how are you gonna do it?" Lars stammers a bit "I-I don't know. That's why I called you." Steven's eyes lit up with a brilliant plan as he told it to Lars. From the corner of my eye, I could spot Bismuth and Jasper at another table. I also noticed that Jasper kept looking at our table. Something seemed off. Ever since I told her about my Uncle's death and the circumstances surrounding it, she's been watching me like a hawk. But I could tell there was discomfort in her eyes, especially when they shifted towards Lars. "Serena?" My thoughts are halted by Steven "What do you think?" I snap myself back into reality "Sorry, I got distracted." Steven sighed "The plan is during Sadie's next concert, Lars is going to surprise Sadie on stage and sing her favorite song to her." I agree with this plan. After Steven and Lars leave, I walk over to Jasper and Bismuth's table and sit down. "Hey Serena" Bismuth greets me. "Hi Bismuth" I reply, as I turn to Jasper "So, I just got more information regarding my uncle's death.  Apparently when they went back to investigate the body was missing. The police are saying the seagulls must've gotten to him." Jasper remains silent. Silent treatment, huh? She just gave that to the wrong person. "I know jealousy when I see it" I flat out say as Jasper looks at me "Although I thought you were just doing your job." "That's what I thought as well" Jasper sighs "But whenever I'm around you, I feel weird. Like I want to be yours and yours alone. It's sort of like how I used to feel about my diamond. Seeing you with that space pirate, made me feel insecure, threatened, under attack." Jasper kneels down and bows her head "My Serena. I, your Jasper guard, have failed you." I lift her chin with my hand. "No. You haven't" I say "Truth is I've had the same feelings about you. Love, Lust, whatever it's called. I just wanna be with you." Jasper interjects "I think it's love. My Human." I respond "My Jasper."
