Chapter five: Workshop

(Pearl's POV)

I ran into Tamra's arms as we both hugged each other tightly.

"Oh Pearl it's so good to see you again!" Tamra said letting go of me and looking so relieved.

"I'm so happy to see you again, I thought I would never see your face again.." I said as I to burst into tears which then Tamra put her arm around my shoulder.

"Well let me tell you something, I'm so glad that Katy will have finally found you because for these past three years she has made me work my and her ass off trying to find you!" Tamra said chuckling which made me smile.

"I thought she had forgotten me.." I say to myself quietly, but it seemed Tamra put her hand underneath my chin which made me wince in pain.

"Pearl, Katy would never forget you.. You are like air to her, she can't live and breath without you, she would do anything to get that air back to stop her from dying, which is what she was doing. She was trying to stop her soul from dying by finding her light, a bright, gleaming pearl.." Tamra said smiling at me widely.

"Thankyou Tam that's really nice and encouraging for you to say!" I say as I hug Tamra once again.

"We both better get going, Katy's performance will end soon." Tamra said as she opened the door as we both walked into the deserted hallway.

Both Tam and I walked back into the assembly hall but went in different directions so I sat back down next to a grumpy looking Mandee while Tam in the direction of backstage. Katy it seemed had just finished performing firework, looking tired but happy. I stood up, clapped and cheered with everyone else.

"Thank you!" Katy said crinkling her nose as she bowed which made me smile genuinely.

"Thank you Katy Perry for those amazing performance! Now Katy will be spending the whole day at our school getting to know you all. We have selected a group of students to go with Katy and do a music workshop with her!" I felt butterflies beginning to form in my stomach as my head teacher said these words.

"I bet I'm going to get chosen, since I'm great at music and my dad works in the business.." Mandee whispered to me arrogantly which only made me roll my eyes.

"May the following students please come up to the stage... Paige Michaels, Jenna Gilbert, William Tucker, Freya Lee, Max Cole, Mandee Hallaway, Justin Samuels, Raya Teal, Ian Creed and Pearl Spencer!" As soon as my name was called I my stomach twist and turn making me feel quite sick. As Mandee and I walked onto the stage, I felt my legs begin to give way making me walk extremely weirdly.

"So your all going to go with Katy now for the workshop, make sure you all behave yourself's!" Our head master said patting us all on the backs. I smiled at him weakly as he returned the gesture.

"Okay guys lets go!" Katy said smiling as she walked, striding elegantly which she always used to joke around doing it pretending to be some stuck up person with a "amazing british accent" well that's what she called it. The thought of it made me chuckle out loud which caused her to stop and look at me. At first she looked confused and puzzled but as she scanned my face she suddenly looked shocked but full of life. As of Katy was in some sort of trance, she came to her senses and turned around and walked forwards into our Music room."

•2 hours later..•

"Okay guys thank you so much for cooperating and being absolutely fantastic, your all such talented musicians have a great rest of the day!" Katy said giving everyone a group hug.

As everyone started to leave the room, I pretended to put stuff in my bag until everyone was gone except me and Katy.

"Pearl!?!..." Katy whispered as she began to cry. I felt myself begin to become teary as I rushed into her arms not caring about my aching body or my smudged makeup, I was just happy to be in Katy's arms once again.

"I missed you so much baby girl" Katy said her voice muffled since she buried her face into my shoulder.

"Like you said, no one can take your Pearl, not forever!" I said in her ear which made Katy pull Katy away as she looked at me.

"You remember me saying that?" Katy said looking shocked.

"How could I ever forget?" I said touching her cheeks as I wiped away her tears.

"By the way, I think you owe me am explanation about that whole unconditionally song, I might just sue you for copy right!" I said which made her chuckle.

"Well what can I say? Those words always used to warm my heart when you said them." Katy said pulling me into another hug.

"I love you so much..." I said again closing my eyes not ever wanting to let go..

This was such an emotional chapter to right ( good type) since I have an ear operation next week and I don't know how I will be, il try and update as much as I can this week xx
