Sarah held her breath as she penetrated through the thick ashed air. A glow ahead drawing closer with every beat of her wings she flew higher as the ash got thinner revealing a crumbled castle. She was dark enough to blend in the ash above as her eyes darted around looking toward the ground. A dragon curled in an opening on the side as ogres patrolled around. Closing her eyes as she flew higher shrouding herself in ash masking her scent she glided farther past the castle until she saw a mound of rubble away from the ogres and the dragon. I should be safe there. She drifted softly down darting her eyes around quickly before making a soft landing. She hopped on the ground staying close to the rubble looking around again. Bare trees surrounded the castle and thickened out around her. Not touching those.. She sighed as she nudge against the rubble making a piece fall down across the pile. She held her breath the dragon sat up and looked around. Damn. Now what. She crept herself closer to the rubble before falling down in a hole that the rubble moved aside for. She opened her wings and gained her bearings as she drifted down what looked to be an old well. Her eyes adjusting to the darkness. Sarah caught the sight of ground as she landed down softly. There were tunnels that lead in either direction. Oh who would've guessed. Another maze. She closed her eyes as she laid her wing on the ground. She can see the mazes turns and bends that laid before her. I never knew I could do this. If only I knew I would've solved the labyrinth quicker.

Okay so this way is a dead end.. This way has a lot of ogr.. Oh one's coming this way. Sarah sat up and leaned against the wall. If I fly he'll hear me. She tucked herself on the side and held her breath. As she leaned, she felt what seemed to be arms softly embracing her as she watched the brick of the walls enclose around her. What's going on? As it wrapped she can still see through the wall but it was almost like the brick became a veil. She watched as the ogre dragged his feet by not even noticing Sarah. As he faded from view, Sarah took a step and pulled away from the wall. As she looked around she shook her feathers growing to her regular form. Tracing her hands down her body she smiled and sighed. That was amazing.

As she came to her regular size, she placed her hand on the wall as she closed her eyes. She could see the ogre walking toward what seemed to be a stairway. The opposite direction lead to an opening of cells? "Jareth, must be there." She took soft steps as she jogged down the hallway.

Jareth wiggled and shook but couldn't get the chains off. Why did I make such an arrogant move? He tried shifting to himself but the chains had an enchantment. How do I get out of here... He stumbled before falling down to the ground. Taking a deep breath before yelling out.

Sarah heard a loud screech as she grew closer. Jareth? That's gotta be him. I know that sound anywhere. She ran faster down the hall before suddenly stopping. She heard voices in the distant. Hugging the wall she blended in as she waited to see if anyone passes.

"So, I heard Dracius is trying to find the one who came. Supposedly, she's the returned one." Ogre 1 grumbled as he shifted his pants over his hips. "The returned one. Ha. Just a waste of our time.." Ogre 2 scoffed as he sat up. "Ready for another patrol?" Looking at ogre 1 he sighed. "Orders are orders right." Then they parted ways in opposite directions. As they vanished Sarah pulled through and hurried over to the cells. She closed her eyes and opened revealing her animal eyes. They glowed bright white as she looked around. There were four large doors each with a small window with bars. The doors were large and domed shaped and were at least 6 ft apart from each other. She closed her eyes and saw there was only one prisoner. Chained up she could make out an owl sulked on the ground. Jareth! She hurried to the cell and peaked in seeing Jareth lying on the ground. He looks weak. She looked around before trying to open the door. Locked.. I wonder.... She stepped back and held her hand out focusing hard on imaging the door unlocking before hearing a click. She opened it up, closing the door behind her gently as to not alert the ogres and listened to it lock back as before.
Jareth looked up his sorrowful eyes staring up at Sarah as she rushed to his side.
