Sasuke's parting gift.

Minato was devastated when Naruto recoverd.

Well, it's not like he didn't want his son to not recover. But this meant that he now only had 2 days to be with the boy until he would leave for four years.

The blonde Hokage sighed and looked out the window of his office in the Hokage tower.

He felt a tap on his shoulder.

Turning around, he saw his son holding up a piece of paper in his hands:

What's wrong Papa?

He looked at his sons concerned face and smiled. "It's nothing baby."

Naruto raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms as if say, Really?

Minato gave a light laugh and opened his arms for his son to enter, Naruto happily doing so.

"I'm just . .I'm gonna miss you so much." The blonde whispered. "I'm gonna miss you, Kakashi, and Jiraiya but I'm gonna miss you the most."

He felt his son give a silent laugh in his chest. Minato peeled the boy off of him and looked at him in confusion. "What's so funny?"

Naruto reached over and grabbed a piece of paper and pen from the desk and started to write:

You're acting like I'm going to die or something. I'll be back before you know it!

Minato took the piece of paper and glared at a couple of the words. He crumbled it up and threw it in the trash.

"Of course you won't die." Minato stated firmly pulling the boy back into his chest. "If you do, I don't know what I'd do with myself."

Naruto nodded into his fathers chest and smiled.

Just then the door opened.

Minato didn't have to look up to know that the person must've been a family member, because he told them to just come in instead of knocking.
