The next Morning Minato woke up shaking.
Though it wasn't him that was shaking.
He looked down and saw his son pressed against his chest shaking a saying things in this sleep. Minato frowned, but before he could wake the boy up he started talking.
"N-No...Dad..dy downt weave!" he cried. Minato didn't wanna hear even a little more as he started to shake the boy awake. Naruto launched up and sighed in relief as it was only a dream. That's when he realized that he was back to being blind. He scrunched his face, about to cry until Minato quickly reacted.
He sat up and set Naruto on his lap as cried. ''Baby you've been crying so much lately..It's getting me worried.''
Naruto didn't respond and barried his face into his fathers chest even more. Minato sighed and caried the boy downstairs and sat him on the couch while he started to prepare breakfast. Naruto sat up from the couch and rubbed his eyes with his fist.
He seemed to be searching for where his father went and Minato chuckled. Walking over to him, he sat down next to him and held his hands.
''Naruto. What was it that you wanted to tell me yest--''
Minato gasped.
Naruto's eye's were no longer the bright vibrant blue that Minato saw the day before. No, Now they were cloudy. Almost like they dimmed and drained of their color. Minato knew exactly what that meant.
''Naruto..baby are you blind? Can you not see Papa?''
Naruto's eyes widen as he started to panic.
"W-Well yes, b-but I cwan fwix it! I-I'll try to ask Kurwama fwor more s-sight! J-Just dwont go, okay?!" he cried. Tears started to form into Minato's eyes as he pulled the child closer to him.
Did he really think I would leave him just because he's blind? Of course it saddens me but I would never leave!
''Don't gwo..D-Don't g--''
"Shhh,'' Minato soothed. ''I'm not leaving you. And I never will.''
Naruto sniffled. ''Pwomise?''
"I Promise.''
Minato layed there rubbing soothing circles into Naruto's back until he calmed down. Minato was concerned about Naruto's sight but he figured that if he were to ask the boy it would just upset him even more, so he left it alone for now.
