9 - Chapter I

"I ask of you, are you my master?"

A little girl, between 10-12 years of age, appeared in front of Luke as he summons his guardian in the summoning room.

The summoning room looks like a temple with an altar at the middle. The catalyst will be placed at the table and the master-to-be will read the summoning rights.

The catalyst Luke placed at the table looks like a cherry blossom branch placed in a round stone.

"I-Ikaw ang guardian ko?!?" Nag-tatakang tanong ni Luke sa batang babae. "A-Ahhh... One? Siya ba yung sinasabi ni Five na rare guardian?"

[Z-One]: Eh yan lang naman yung catalyst na binigay niya sa akin. Proud na proud pa nga dahil siya daw mismo yung nag-scout at ilabas siya as guardian. Teka tatawagan ko.

Z-One is Agent Maximus/Arthur Marcellino, team Zulu's coach. He will monitor and supervise Luke throughout the mission. Z-Five is Agent Dr. Stein/Dr. Englebert Einstein, the team's scientist.

"Is something wrong?" The guardian curiously asked. "Oh wait, I didn't understand what you said earlier." The guardian started to chant. "Language Search- Tagalog. Ability to understand language- acquired. Okay, I can now understand your language master. Us guardians must adopt to our masters language though we are only allowed to speak in english."

Luke is just standing while waiting for Arthur to finish his conversation with Dr. Einstein. "Hmm.. C-Can you introduce yourself?" Luke asked the guardian.

"Y-Yes! Pardon me master, I should've done than earlier. I am Corolla Shadow Blades. Since you will be my master, you can call me by my real name - Sakura. This will be my first battle. Meaning, you are my first master. I promise to lend my power to you!"

"A-Ahh... I see.. I'm Luke.. y-your master..."

Actually, there is no problem about Sakura's age. The problem why Luke and Arthur is hesitant is because of her level - one star. Meaning, she's one of the weakest guardians in the game. Team Zulu is on a special mission and how can Luke win battles if he faces masters with stronger guardians?

[Z-One]: Ayun. Yung matured version niya daw dapat ang ma-su-summon kaso di daw niya akalain na yung early age ng guardian ang ma-su-summon. Gagawa na ako ng request kay Pegasus kung pwede mag-procure ng budget para maka-purchase nalang tayo ng high level catalyst. Kaso ma-dedelay na tayo sa game.

"Master, who are you talking to?" Sakura asked Luke who is just standing still.

"N-Nothing!"

"Are you not happy I'm your guardian?" Sakura lowered her head with a sad face.

"N-No! I-I'm happy! I just can't show it to my face!"

Sakura is wearing a white, black and pink color combination ninja suit. She has a pink, short hair. She looks cute in her age and Luke wasn't able to resist that cuteness.

"R-Really? I'm happy!" Sakura raised her head with a big cute smile in her face."

"Hmm.. One.. siguro okay na si Sakura. Hindi lang naman naka-depende sa level ng guardian ang laro di ba?" Luke reached out to Arthur saying that Sakura is fine as his guardian.

[Z-One]: Sigurado ka na ba? Baka mahirapan ka. Di bale, kailangan mo lang namang makarating hanggang Regional Round.

"Sure na sure! Mas challenging din kapag ganun. Hehe." Luke answered positively.

[Z-One]: Na-register ka na ni Three sa event. First game mo na bukas. Nilagay ka niya sa town at province na may pinaka-konting players. Pwede ka na mag-log-out.

Three is Agent Watcher/Kisuke Nakano, team's technical and computer expert. Team Zulu joined the event on the last day of the registration.

"Copy that!"

A Guardian Was Summoned
