15 - Chapter VI

Crysta used her skill to protect Luke from the hard rain. *"Crystal Barrier!" She made a dome-shaped barrier with her and Luke inside. They are inside the barrier but still, the hard rain is the only noise that can be heard. Luke tried to talked to Crysta but they cannot hear each other. The loud noise of the rain makes the feeling numb, nothing can be seen but the rain, nothing can be heard but the rain, nothing can be felt but the rain.

Suddenly, the rain felt like swords falling from the sky. The barrier is slowly chipping off from those sword-like rain.

"M-Master! The barrier won't hold much anymore!" With no other way to communicate, Crysta rushed near to Luke and whispered in his ear. "Wh-What are your orders?"

Luke whispered back. "Can you turn everything into crystals?"

"Y-Yes.. but I need time.."

"I'll buy you time. Use your skill few seconds after, if the guardian uses her final skill."

Crysta was surprised of Luke's plan but at the same time, she was glad she can be confident to fight as long as her master won't depend to much on her. Crysta placed her sword in the ground and she started to chant her skill. Luke just stood in front of her.

A moment had past, the barrier was destroyed and the sword-like rain was able to penetrate. *"Master Skill: Barrier!" Luke used the same master skill Gerard used and he protected Crysta with it. As the sword-like rain pours on Luke's barrier, his mana is slowly decreasing.

Suddenly, the rain stopped. Luke also removed the barrier. "How was my guardian's skill, Raining of Piercing Swords?" Gerard asked Luke. "Ang lakas di ba? Pero hindi pa dyan nagtatapos! Aquoa! By my command spell, I order you to use your Final Skill!"

"Yes master! *Finale Skill: HydroStorm!" Aquoa used her final skill. The clouds in the sky gathered in a circular motion. The center was towards Luke and Crysta. The clouds turned dark and suddenly a huge drop of water starts to fall.

"C-Crysta! Now!" Luke shouted as he was shocked of the huge drop of falling above him.

*"Crystal Field!" A wide-ranged land field suddenly turned into a field of crystals. *"Crystal Castle Walls!" A taller than before wall of crystals was created by Crysta to cover her and Luke. The walls are like the walls of a huge castle. The huge drop made a hit on the wall. The hard water scattered all throughout but it turned to crystals and disappeared.

"P-Paano?!?" Gerard was surprised of what happened. His guardian's final skill was easily countered. He and Aquoa was also caught by the crystal field. Their feet were stuck with crystals that they cannot move. The crystals are slowly climbing up towards their body. "A-Ang lakas naman ng guardian mo.."

Luke walks towards them. "Malakas din ang guardian mo. Actually, naging kapanapanabik ang laban natin. It was a good fight. I'm Luke." Luke brought out three scrolls. *"Item use: Scroll of Lightning!" The lightning struck both Gerard and Aquoa until their HP turned to zero.

"We did it master!" Crysta is happy that they won the fight. "It's my first battle with you as my master!"

Luke blushed as he saw Crysta's smiling face. Crysta is 20's in age, has a long white hair wearing a knight-like armor with crystals on it. She's really look like a fairy with her elven ears.

Luke came back to his base as the game for that day is done.

"Master! Why didn't you used me? I kept whispering during the heavy rain. I could've helped you!" Nagtatampong sabi ni Sakura. "You just kept saying it's not yet the time!"

"Ah-Ahh.. hehe.." Gusto lang talagang subukan ni Luke si Crysta bilang guardian kaya hindi muna niya ginamit si Sakura. "D-Don't worry... the next game.. I promise." Nagtatampo pa rin si Sakura pero para kay Luke, na-cu-cutan siya lalo na nung ng pout pa si Sakura ng cheeks niya.

"By the way, how did you know the timing of the attacks master?" Tanong ni Crysta na nagtataka kung paano naisip ni Luke ang stratehiyang ginamit niya kanina.

"Simple lang... Aquoa used half of her mana during that heavy and sword-like rain. She will need half more to use her final skill. If she continued those skill, her mana will depletes at the same time as mine while using the barrier." Sagot ni Luke.

Masters can only see the HP, mana and stamina bars of theirselves and their guardian. The guardians can only see where the other masters are every after 5 minutes. But with Luke's secret device, he can see even other masters and guardians status and locations.

[Z-One]: Good job Nine! Mag-po-proceed na tayo sa next round. Mag-log-out ka na magcecelebrate tayo!

"Hoy! Bakit nawala ka kanina?!?" Tanong ni Luke kay Arthur.

[Z-One]: A-Ahhh.. masyado kasing intense yung laban niyo kanina.. napatulala tuloy ako. hehehe. Pero nakaka-proud ang galing mo na! Tara nandito na yung pizza!"

Luke replied. "Haay.. Wag mo po palakihin ulo ko... pero kakain lang ha! Walang iinom! Every panalo nalang naglalasing ka!"

[Z-One]: Ano ka ba? What is a celebration without a beer? Hahaha!
