Merle was locked up in one of the cells "were not leaving" Rick said "we can't stay here" hershel said "we can't even go outside" Beth said.  "Look if Rick says were not running then were not running" Glenn said "no better to live like rats." Merle said "you have a better idea?" Rick asked "yah, we should have slid out of here last night and live another day, but we lost that window didn't we? I'm sure he's got scouts on every road of this place by now." Merle said "we ain't scared of that prick." Daryl said "y'all should be, that truck through the fence thing, that's just him ringing the doorbell. We might have some thick walls to hide behind but he's got the guns and the numbers. And if he takes the high ground around this place, shoot, he could starve us out if he wanted to." Merle said "lets put him in the other cell block" Maggie said "no. He's got a point." Daryl said "this is all you. You started this." Maggie said I gave her a death glare but she didn't care. "What difference does it make about whose fault it is? What do we do?" Beth said "I said we should leave. We can't just sit here." Hershel said Rick was walking away "Get Back Here! Your slipping Rick, we understand why. But now is not the Time. You once said this isn't a democracy. Well now you have to own up to that. I put my family's lives in your hands, so get your head clear and do something." Hershel yelled.

(Carl pov)

I saw dad on watch so I went out there to "You shouldn't be out here." "I'm a good shot." "Yes, you are." "Hey, Dad?" "Yeah?" "If I say something, will you promise not to be mad?" "I won't get mad." "You should stop." "Stop what?" "Being the leader.Let Hershel and Daryl handle things.You deserve a rest." I left dad alone. 'I'm sorry dad but I need to make sure she will be safe and the best way to do that is have a stable leader.' (Just thought I'd put that in for you drama lovy dovy people *looks at sister*)

Meanwhile-

I was in the forest when I heard a twig snap behind me turned around to see what it was a girl with short dirty blonde hair, a blue shirt with a rainbow on it, and a doll. "Sophia! Lord you scared me. I thought I told you not to go wandering in the woods by yourself. You know it's dangerous." "But I found water." "What?! Well then why didn't you say so? Where is it?" "Come on follow me!" She said cheerfully I followed. She led me to a creek that was in a big ditch 'how did she get out of here?' I thought. After we got some water I noticed some geeks coming quite a few actually "come on we need to go now!" I grabbed Sophia's arm and yanked so hard she dropped her doll "my dolly!" She cried "there's no time we have to go!" I climbed up tree close to us thank god it was jumping distance from the edge of the ditch I grabbed Sophia and jumped holding her head down just in case she got hurt(please I know what is sounds like but its not like that! Its a friend helping a friend). Once on the ground we ran "more?" I asked myself seeing more geeks. We ran and ran and when I finally thought that we were safe I heard Sophia scream I turned around quickly but I was to late. She was bit. I shot the geek in the head and picked her up "No! No! No! This wasn't supposed to happen! No!" I woke up in my bed scared and sweating. "It was all a dream? But, Sophia." I said to myself. 'I must have fallen asleep getting lost in thought again'

Time skip-

"Take watch." Rick said to maggie "Field's filled with walkers.I didn't see any snipers out there, but we'll keep Maggie on watch." "I'll get up in the guard tower, take out half them walkers, give these guys a chance to fix the fence." Daryl said "Or use some of the cars to put the bus in place." Michonne said "We can't access the field without burning through our bullets." Hershel staited "So we're trapped in here. There's barely any food or ammo." Glen said "Been here before. We'll be all right." Daryl replied "That's when it was just us. Before there was a snake in the nest." "Man, we gonna go through this again?Look, Merle's staying here. He's with us now.Get used to it." "Hey." Rick started "All y'all." Daryl stormed off "he's right you know." I said looking at Rick and going after Daryl "Seriously, Rick, I don't think Merle living here is really gonna fly." "I can't kick him out." "I wouldn't ask you to live with Shane after he tried to kill you." "Merle has military experience.He may be erratic, but don't underestimate his loyalty to his brother and that little girl." Hershel said "What if we solve both problems at once?Deliver Merle to the Governor. Bargaining chip. Give him his traitor, maybe declare a truce." "What about (y/n)?" "We can keep her but not Merle." "You must really love making a little girl cry" they looked up and saw tears in my eyes "do you love splitting families up or is mine your first?!" I said running away.

Time skip-

I was looking for Daryl and I heard his voice along with Carol "Haven't had a chance to say I'm glad you came back." She said "To what? All this?" "This is our home." "This is a tomb." "That's what T-Dog called it.Thought he was right till you found me.He's your brother, but he's not good for you.Don't let him bring you down.After all, look how far you've come." 'T-Dog?' Seeing he was busy I left. I went into a cell and flopped down on the bed ~sigh~ "hey (y/n)?" I looked up to see carl "hey are you ok?" He said "yeah I'm fine." "Your eyes look red and puffy are you sure-" "I said I'm fine." I said a little irritated. He shuttered a little "hey I'm sorry Carl. I've just had a lot on my mind right now ya' know? Now what did you want to tell me." "Come on." He grabbed my hand and ran off dragging me. He took me to the watch area and I saw someone I looked through the scope of my rifle "Andrea?" I said to my self "she used to be in our group." Carl told me. We brought her inside.  "After you saved me, we thought you were dead." "Hershel, my God.I can't believe this.Where's Shane?" silence(because I am the great and powerful oz! XD ) filled the room "And Lori?" "She had a girl. Lori didn't survive." "Neither did T-Dog." "I'm so sorry.Carl.Rick, I--You all live here?" "Here and the cell block." "There?Well, can I go in?" "I won't allow that." "I'm not an enemy, Rick." "We had that field and courtyard until your boyfriend tore down the fence with a truck and shot us up." "He said you fired first." "Well, he's lying." "He killed an inmate who survived in here."
