Chapter 16: Terminus Is Terminated!

Haha! Like the title?  Thought of it from 'Terminator'! Hey do you guys know how I deal with termites?  It's pretty much the same way Carol deals with them, I burn them! Yeah they pop really loud thought XD.

"All right, got four of them pricks coming our way." Daryl said "Y'all know what to do. Go for their eyes first. Then their throats." Rick told us "Put your backs to the walls on either side of the car now." A man yelled from outside of the train car. A can came in the car from the roof "Move!" Abraham shouted. It was some sort of smoke bomb (or tear gas i don't really know). They took Rick, Bob, Glen, and (dramatic gasp!) Daryl "No! Please don't take my dad!" I ran at the man holding Daryl "Get back kid!" He yelled and kicked me away. I fell back but was caught by carl. "Hey!" He yelled at the man, the door shut leaving us in here.

After awhile I heard an explosion "What the hell was that?!" I asked "I don't know, but it doesn't sound good." Maggie said. There were gunshots and people screaming now. 'I hope the others are okay.' I thought working on a weapon.

"What the hell is going on?" Abraham asked "Someone hit them. Maybe our people got free." Michonne said "What are you doing?" I asked looking at Eugene (Ha!Ha! I takes Tara's line). "I might be able to use this shell to compromise the door. From the sound of things, there may not be anybody left to open it." He said "Eugene, I'm sorry, but shut up." Tara said "Hey. My dad's gonna be back. They all are. They are. And we need to get ready to fight our way out with them when they do." Carl said we all looked at him and went to working more weapons.

"What's the cure, Eugene?" Sasha asked "It's classified." Eugene told her "We don't know what's gonna happen." "You leave him be. We need to keep working." Abraham told her "Yeah, but it's time to hear it. 'Cause we don't know what's coming next." Maggie said "What's next is we get out of this." "Even if I told you all, even if I provided step-by-step instructions complete with illustrations and a well-composed FAQ and I went red-ring, the cure would still die with me." "I'm not gonna let that happen." Abraham told him "The best-case scenario, we step out into a hellstorm of bullets, fire, and walkers." "I'm not fleet of foot. I sure as hell can't take a dead one down with sharp buttons and hella confidence." "Yeah, but we can and we will." "You don't owe us anything." "Not yet. But we just want to hear it." "You don't have to." "I was part of a 10-person team at the Human Genome Project to weaponize diseases to fight weaponized diseases. Pathogenic microorganisms with pathogenic microorganisms. Fire with fire. Interdepartmental drinks were had, relationships made, information shared. I am keenly aware of all the details behind fail-safe delivery systems to kill every living person on this planet. I believe with a little tweaking on the terminals in DC, we can flip the script. Take out every last dead one of them. Fire with fire. All things being equal, it does sound pretty badass." Eugene said "So let's get back to work." Maggie said. Right as she said that the door opened to walkers everywhere. Carl hugged Rick and I hugged Daryl "Come on! Fight to the fence!" Rick said.

We ran to the fence and when we got over the fence we went to the place we hid our stuff (and things). "The hell are we still around here for?" Abraham asked in a mean tone "Guns, some supplies. Go along the fences. Use the rifles. Take out the rest of 'em." Rick ordered "What?" Glen asked shocked "They don't get to live." "Rick, we got out. It's over." "It's not over till they're all dead." "The hell it isn't." Rosita said "I'm not dicking around with this crap. We just made it out." Abraham said "The fences are down. They'll run or die." Maggie said. I felt another presences near us and looked behind me and saw Carol, me and Daryl ran and gave her hugs, she had our crossbows and handed them to us "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much." I said smiling happily at her, she smiled back and noodded "Did you do that?" Rick asked her laughing she smiled at him "You have to come with me." Carol said to Rick and we followed her. She took us to a small house in the woods not far from terminus (or what used to be terminus). There we saw Tyreese and Judith "Judith. You're okay." Rick and Carl ran and hugged Judith, Tyreese hugged Sasha, and I stood next to Carol "What happened?" I asked them "There were a bunch of walkers out here, we ran into one of those guys and tied him up. He got his hands around Judith's neck." Tyreese said, Rick looked at him worriedly but I could see the rage in his eyes. "No, he's dead. I-I had to. So I did." Tyreese said looking down "I don't know if the fire is still burning." Rick said walking next to Carol "It is." Carol said "Yeah." he said sounding like a question. she nodded "We need to go." Rick said "Yeah, but where?" Daryl asked "Somewhere far away from there." Rick said and we started walking. Carl grabbed my hand. "You ok?" he asked, I looked at him with a slight blush and nodded. we walked with the group.
