5 year time skip-

"Good morning" I said to Darryl and Merle. They were putting food in to a big sack and told me to go get dressed and to pack my crossbow , bolts and some clothes, i did as they said and brought my suitcase out in to the living room. "Are you guys ok?" I asked. They looked at each other then back at me. "Uh...yah everything is fine." Darryl said walking up to me "I know that's not true. Why are you lying to me Darryl you never do that. Merle I know you'll tell me the truth." They looked at each other again and Darryl gave a nod "ok darlin this is what happened Darryl and I were watching the news and they are saying to evacuate because they said the dead are coming back to life." "What! What are you saying?! If this is some prank it's not funny at all." I screamed "no I'm sorry it's not a prank." Darryl said. And with that we got in the car and drove away.

time skip-

We stopped because of traffic and I was getting tired "why don't you rest your head for a bit (y/n)." Darryl asked so I did and tried to sleep. After a little while Darryl and Merle got out of the car to fight about something. " we need to get to the city they can protect her!" Darryl said. "Her! Her! Darryl what about us?! You know ever since you found (y/n) you have been really different like she made you soft!" "Don't you even I know you love her to!" "Yah but what if they don't have enough food they can't feed everyone!" "But if we go then we can find food. If we go there they won't let us leave!" I couldn't take it anymore they never fight like this so I got out of the car and ran for the woods. No one saw me so i stayed there for the night and when it was morning I came out of the woods but the highway was abandoned I was all alone.
