Hey guys! Look I'm so sorry for not updating an official chapter in a while. I just finished school so now I'm on summer break and you know what else that means? 'Fear the walking dead' is coming! *Maka145 enters, walks up to me and whispers something in my ear*
Me: Your kidding! You are kidding right?!
Maka: *shakes head* Sorry sis. I looked online, it doesn't air till August. *shows tablet* See.
Me: *reads* *feels like crying* NOOOOO! Why Would they do this! I thought it was suppose to air during the summer! THIS IS BULL!
Maka: Well maybe it will make the show better.
Me: *wipes tears* Yeah I guess your right.
*Maka leaves* That really sucks! I was really looking forward to walkers over the summer! Anyway guys I'm trying to update more. Here I have 4 episodes in this chapter so I hope you like it.
We started to head to Washington. Dad (tell me if you want me to call him dad or Daryl because I don't know!) and me went to look for some water. He dug in the dirt and found some worms. I ate some "taste like chicken." I said and Dad nodded. We came back to the group with Maggie and Sasha. The car ran out of gas and we started walking. Carl found a music box and gave it to Maggie. I smiled at him.
After awhile a horde formed behind us but we just kept walking. We came to a bridge and watched as the others took care of the walkers. We came across some cars, we checked them for walkers and supplies. All we found was liqueur. Carl was holding Judith, I was next to him, and everyone else was around us. Abraham took out the liqueur and drank it. We then heard growls from some bushes. It was a pack of dogs. They barked at us, then Sasha killed them, and we ate them. But one thing I didn't get was why was I not even tearing up from the scene. In fact instead of tearing up I felt as if I where smiling at the death of the poor dogs. We ate the dead dogs.
We got back to walking and we found some water with a note on it saying 'FROM A FRIEND' we all looked at each other. Dad got back and we showed him the note. Eugene tried to drink some but Abraham knocked it out of his hand. It started to rain and we all cheered. We got out our water bottles and put them under the falling water. I laid on the ground and had rain fall into my mouth. It felt nice. There was some loud thunder and I covered my ears. We grabbed all our stuff as the the booming noise grew. I had my hands pressed against my ears so hard I didn't hear Dad say that there was a barn. Carl grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug as we went to the barn. Once inside I heard more of the loud booming noise and I covered my ears hiding in a dark corner.
Carl's POV-
I watched as (y/n) ran into the dark corner alone. She looked scared. 'Is she afraid of thunder?' I thought. I gave Judith to dad and went over to (y/n). "(Y/n)? Are you okay?" I asked she kept her head down and her ears covered. I sat next to her and put my arms around her waist and hugged her tightly. She looked up at me and I looked at her beautiful (e/c) eyes. "C-Carl?" She said very softly "yeah?" I asked her "w-when do you think this s-storm will be over?" She asked I stroked her arm to try to calm her down "I don't know." I told her. She looked down "I-I-I'm...afraid of thunder." She whispered. I took her head and gently laid it on my shoulder. I combed my fingers through her (h/c) hair and put my lips close to her ear "I'll protect you. I promise." I whispered I took her chin and planted a kiss on her soft lips. We lied there until we both fell asleep.
Your POV-
Maggie and Sasha went out and came back with someone else "Everyone... This is Aaron. We met him outside. He's by himself. We took his weapons and we took his gear." Maggie told us. Dad checked him to make sure and closed the door "Hi." Aaron said Judith started crying and Rick gave her to Carl. "Shh." Carl calmed her "It's nice to meet you." Aaron said coming towards Rick. "You said he had a weapon?" Rick asked Maggie. Maggie brought him the weapon. "There's something you need?" Rick asked Aaron "He has a camp, nearby. He wants us to audition for membership." Sasha said "I wish there was another word. Audition makes it sound like we're some kind of a dance troupe. That's only on Friday nights. Um, and it's not a camp. It's a community. I think you all would make valuable additions. But it's not my call. My job is to convince you all to follow me back home. I know. If I were you, I wouldn't go either. Not until I knew exactly what I was getting into. Sasha, can you hand Rick my pack?" Aaron asked. Sasha gave Rick the backpack "Front pocket, there's an envelope. There's no way I could convince you to come with me just by talking about our community. That's why I brought those. I apologize in advance for the picture quality. We just found an old camera store last..." "Nobody gives a shit." Dad interrupted Aaron "You're absolutely 100% right." Aaron told Dad. Rick got the envelope and opened it there were lots of pictures the first one was boards being put up like a wall. "That's the first picture I wanted to show you because nothing I say about our community will matter unless you know you'll be safe. If you join us, you will be. Each panel in that wall is a 15-foot-high, 12-foot-wide slab of solid steel framed by cold-rolled steel beams and square tubing. Nothing alive or dead gets through that without our say-so. Like I said, security is obviously important. In fact, there's only one resource more critical to our community's survival. The people. Together we're strong. You can make us even stronger. The next picture, you'll see inside the gates. Our community was first construc..." Rick knocked Aaron out I stared wide eyed. "So we're clear, that look wasn't a 'let's attack that man' look. It was a 'he seems like an okay guy to me' look." Michonne said "We got to secure him. Dump his pack. Let's see what this guy really is." Rick said "Rick." Michonne said but he walked away from her "Everybody else, we need eyes in every direction. They're coming for us. We might not know how or when, but they are." Rick told us "Me and Sasha, we didn't see him. If he had wanted to hurt us, he could've." Maggie said "Anybody see anything?" Rick asked "Just a lot of places to hide." Glen told him "All right, keep looking." Rick told him. Rick walked over to Carl "What did you find?" Rick asked "Never seen a gun like that before." Carl said handing Rick a gun "let me see" I said walking over to them. I looked at the gun "it's a flair gun." I said "can you kill walkers with it?" Carl asked "oh definitely. But its not really ment for that. You shoot it in the sky and it will have a certain color of smoke signaling if you need help." I told him. Aaron started to wakeup "That's a hell of a right cross there, Rick." Aaron said "Sit him up." Rick said "I think it's better if..." Maggie tried to say "It's okay." Aaron told her "He's fine. Sit him up." Rick said "You're being cautious. I completely understand." Aaron said "How many of your people are out there? You have a flare gun. You have it to signal your people. How many of them are there?" Rick asked "Does it matter?" Aaron asked "Yes. Yes, it does." Rick said "I mean, of course, it matters how many people are actually out there, but does it matter how many people I tell you are out there? Because I'm pretty sure no matter what number I say... eight, 32, 444, zero... No matter what I say, you're not going to trust me." Aaron said "Well, it's hard to trust anyone who smiles after getting punched in the face." Rick said "How about a guy who leaves bottles of water for you in the road?" Aaron asked "How long you people been following us?" Dad asked "Long enough to see that you practically ignore a pack of roamers on your trail. Long enough to see that despite a lack of food and water, you never turned on each other. You're survivors and you're people. Like I said, and I hope you won't punch me for saying it again, that is the most important resource in the world." Aaron said "How many others are out there?" Rick asked "One. I knew you wouldn't believe me. If it's not words, if it's not pictures, what would it take to convince you that this is for real? What if I drove you to the community? All of you? We leave now, we'll get there by lunch." Aaron said "I'm not sure how the 15 of us are going to fit in the car you and your one friend drove down here in." Rick said "We drove separately. If we found a group, we wanted to be able to bring them all home. There's enough room for all of us." Aaron told him "And you're parked just a couple miles away, right?" Carol asked "East on Ridge Road, just after you hit Route 16. We wanted to get them closer, but then the storm came, blocked the road. We couldn't clear it." Aaron said "Yeah, you've really thought this through." Rick said "Rick, if I wanted to ambush you, I'd do it here. You know, light the barn on fire while you slept, pick you off as you ran out the only exit. You can trust me." Aaron said "I'll check out the cars." Michonne told Rick "There aren't any cars." Rick told her "There's only one way to find out." Michonne said "We don't need to find out." Rick told her "We do. You know what you know and you're sure of it, but I'm not." Michonne said "Me neither." Maggie said. Rick shook his head "Your way is dangerous, mine isn't." He said "Passing up someplace where we can live? Where Judith can live? That's pretty dangerous. We need to find out what this is. We can handle ourselves. So that's what we're gonna do." Michonne said "Then I will, too. I'll go." Glen said "Abraham." Rick called "Yeah. I'll walk with them." Abraham said "Rosita?" "Okay." Rosita said "If there's trouble, you got enough firepower?" Rick asked Glen "We got what we got." Glen told him. "The walkies are out of juice. If you're not back in 60 minutes, we'll come. Which might be just what they want. If we're all in here, we're a target." Rick said "I've got the area covered." Dad said walking out we left and Carl was holding my hand. He squeezed it and I looked at him curiously "stay with me, but if there's any trouble I want you to run. Okay?" He said looking me in the eyes. I nodded "Eyes open, everybody. Weapons up. You see someone coming at us, you fire." Glen said "Copy that." I said and heard Abraham say it too. Everyone's eyes were on us but I looked away "So if we see someone, we just shoot them?" Michonne asked "It's a good question." Maggie said "What if they're someone like us? What if Aaron is telling the truth? What if they're someone who has nothing to do with this?" Michonne asked "We're five people walking with guns. No one's coming up to say hello." Glen said "But that's exactly what happened." "If it's someone like us, we should be afraid of them. He said he was watching us, right? It means he saw us yesterday. And after everything we've done, why would he want us to join his group?" Glen asked "People like us saved a priest. Saved a girl who rolled up up to the prison with the Governor. Saved a crazy lady with a sword. He saw that." Michonne said "I don't know what he saw." Glen said. "He was telling the truth." I said there was a rustling in the shrubs "Not one step closer, asshole!" Glen said. It was some walkers "I got 'em." Abraham said "We got 'em." Rosita said helping Abraham. Abraham and Rosita went in the RV to check it out. "All clear?" Glen asked "All clear." Rosita said. After clearing out the area we went back to the barn. "This, this is ours now." Rick told Aaron. "There's more than enough." Aaron said "It's ours whether or not we go to your camp." Rick said. "What do you mean? Why wouldn't we go?" Carl asked "If he were lying or if he wanted to hurt us... but he isn't, and he doesn't. We need this. So we're going, all of us. Somebody say something if they feel differently." Michonne said "I don't know, man. This barn smells like horse shit." Dad said I tried to hold back my laughter. "Yeah. We're going. So where are we going? Where's your camp?" Rick asked Aaron. "Well, every time I've done this, I've been behind the wheel driving recruits back. I believe you're good people. I've bet my life on it. I'm just not ready to bet my friends' lives just yet." Aaron said "You're not driving. So if you want to get home, you'll have to tell us how." Michonne told Aaron. "Go north on Route 16." Aaron said "And then?" Michonne asked "I'll tell you when we get there." Aaron told her. "We'll take 23 north. You'll give us directions from there." Rick said "That's... I don't know how else to say it... That's a bad idea. We've cleared 16. It'll be faster." Aaron protested "We'll take 23. We leave at sundown." Rick told us. "We're doing this at night?" Sasha asked Rick "Look, I know it's dangerous. But it's better than riding up to the gates during the day. If it isn't safe, we need to get gone before they know we're there." Rick told her "No one is going to hurt you. You're trying to protect your group, but you're putting them in danger." Aaron said "Tell me where the camp is, we'll leave right now." Rick said Aaron just looked away. "It's going to be a long night. Eat. Get some rest if you can." Rick said before he left.
