"Are you all packed?" Mum called from outside. I had just finished packing my suitcase and the last of my bags. "Yeah!" I replied to mum. "Are you bringing your guitar?" Mum shouts again. "I already packed it!" I reply.
I looked over to see Delaney putting Ziek— our cat into his cage. "All done?" I asked her. "Yep." She replied popping the 'p'. "Lets go." I said to Delaney.
Delaney rushes out of the room and I stood up looking around my room for the last time.
"Not going to be here for awhile." I thought to myself.
I hurled my bags, suitcase and guitar downstairs. I trudged out to the car and I put Delaney's stuff and my stuff too into the car.
I hopped into the car with Delaney and we waited for our mum.
Mum then hopped into the car and she shut the door.
As mum was driving away from the house she looked back into the rearview mirror.
"Why the face?" Mum asked me. "Nothing, I'm just mentally preparing myself for what ever comes next at the new school." I said chuckling. "Well it will be better at this school, I promise you." Mum then said.
"It better be."
