Ashton's POV

"No way, this is so weird!" Josie exclaims as she once again watches me teleport for the hundredth time.

"Have we found out any other powers yet?" I ask heaving tiredly.
"Well it seems to enhance your powers as a hybrid and just teleportation I guess." Hope sighs.

This morning we've been testing out my powers.
I dragged Hope out because I was in need of her expertise.

"Are we done here yet?, I have better things to do." Hope groans.
"Y-yeah whatever, you can go." I say scratching my head.
"Bye Hopeless!" Lizzie snarks.

Hope walks out of the old mill and back to her room I'm guessing.

"You can go too Lizzie." I say.

"Okay, bye Ash!" Lizzie's cheery voice says. Lizzie then skips out of the old mill.

"Wow I felt that tension between you and Hope," Josie says sitting down on the bench. "What happened?, I thought you guys were okay."

"I mean she basically just rejected me and went back to being cold-ish." I sigh, leaning back into the bench.

"Maybe she's just shutting you out because she doesn't want you to get hurt?" Josie suggests.

"Why would she need to do that?" I question facing Josie.

"She's lost a lot in her life, maybe she doesn't want to risk losing you." Josie says as she pats my knee, standing up.

"C'mon." Josie says.

I stand up and we walk back to the school.

As we walk through the halls there are many hellos and waves given to me. Mostly the wolves though because I'm their alpha now.

I walk back to my room with Josie.

We walk in to see Delaney peacefully sleeping, hugging Ziek.
I notice the bracelet on her hand.

I stand next to her bed and I cast an enchantment, "praesidio ei et auferat illam ad omnes vires ad sumptus."

"What was that spell for?" Josie asks from next to me.

"To dampen her powers, her witch side and werewolf side," I explain. " I don't want her to go through what I went through and she's too young."

"You're very protective of her." Josie smiles as she nudges my shoulder.

"I know."

Dr. Saltzman scheduled an appointment for me with the school guidance counsellor, might I add without letting me know.
To be honest I think it's pointless, but here I am not defying my headmasters orders, sitting in a chair across from the counsellor, Emma Tig.
