Ashton was yet again woken up by none other than Hope Mikaelson on this fine morning. With her explaining why she woke him up, along the lines of the urn getting lost.
And of course being Ashton, he wasn't one to disagree.

Ashton's POV

It's no fun being woken up early and getting sandwiched in a van, but here I am, sandwiched between Josie and Lizzie.
Hope has her own seat in the front and Kaleb, Ms. Tig and Mr. Williams in the back.

"Dr. Saltzman, this van is very white of you." Kaleb says.
"It's retro." Dr. Saltzman defends his van.
"It's a gas-guzzling-atrocity on wheels." Lizzie snarks.

"Hope brought snacks, but she kindly said she wasn't going to hold them." I passively aggressively say, holding the bag up.
Hope looks at me from the rear view mirror and merely smirks.

"Oh, sweet. Did you pack them before or after when you decided to FOMO your way onto our trip." Lizzie says, directing it to Hope.

Hope rolls her eyes.

"Like I was going to let you guys chase monsters without me?" Hope replies to Lizzie.
"I would've thought you wanted to spend the break canoodling with your hipster boyfriend- or Ash, for that matter." Lizzie says.
"Not my boyfriend and sorry for wanting to protect the outside from my mistakes." Hope continues to argue with Lizzie.

"Y'know there's currently an urn on a river cruise spreading plagues across America because Ash and I though a unicorn was cute", Hope says. "It's called accountability, maybe there's a bracelet for it."

My eyes widen as I put my fist to my mouth, hiding my laugh.
Lizzie turns to look at me with a death glare.
I shrink in my seat.
