Ashton spent most of his days in his room doing nothing and sulking.
If he wasn't in his room he was either spacing out at class or eating liquorice in the kitchen.
Penelope and Josie put their differences past them to take care of a broken hearted Ashton.
Penelope and Josie were practically guarding his room door and taking turns to babysit Delaney.
Ashton's POV — I hate everything honestly.
Everything sucks. I've spent all my time in my room, laying in bed.
It's totally normal to sulk over a girl I never had, right?
I can hear Josie and Penelope squabbling outside of my room door.
I get up from my bed and I pull the door open.
"Could you two be any louder?" I say to the two. Both of them look at me. "Wow you're alive." Penelope says. "Yes I am." I reply groaning.
"Do you need me to get anything?" Josie asks. I look back into my room and I see the lot of liquorice packets all over the floor. "No you've done enough." I say softly smiling.
I stand there in the doorway chatting to Penelope and Josie— actually I preventing the two from jumping each other.
A familiar scent wriggles it's way to my nose.
Hope.
"Hey Ash!" Her voice calls out. Instantly feelings rush back and I sink myself back into my hellhole of a room.
Josie's POV — "Step away Mikaelson." Penelope says putting her hand up. "Can I not talk to Ash?" Hope says furrowing her brows. "Yes, you may not talk to him", Penelope says standing next to me, in front of Hope. "He's hurt."
"Why is he hurt and wouldn't he heal." Hope says crossing her arms. "You did this to him." Penelope says extending a finger to Hopes chest. Hope swats Penelope hand away.
"He's hurt emotionally okay." I say speaking up. "What did I do?" Hope says. "You broke his little heart." Penelope says. "What do you mean?" Hope says confused. "He saw you kissing Landon the other day." I say.
