Sarah yawned as she opened her eyes slowly. Shes groaned at her awaken, she had felt so comfortable just a few moments ago. She sleepily reached for her phone, checking the time. 6:24 AM.

She placed the phone beside her and rolled over reaching for Silas, but all she got was a pillow. The blonde sighed, knowing she'd have to get up soon anyway. As Sarah got up she out stretched her arms, letting out a almost inaudible squeal as her muscles stretched and relaxed.

She padded out of bed and opened the bedroom door, the rest of the apartment was bright. It took a second for her eyes to adjust. Once they did her sight landed on the brunette standing by the stove. Sarah leaned against the door frame, waiting for Silas to notice her.

Silas stood in an oversized t-shirt, hair a bit messy with a slice of toast hanging out of her mouth. Her brows were furrowed as she focused on the scrambled eggs in front of her. Finally she smiled to herself? Turning off the shove and walking to the fridge. Silas smiled widely at Sarah when she saw her.

"Good morning sunshine," Sarah grinned as she wrapped her arms around the brunettes waist trying not to hit the slice of toast that still hung between her lips.

Silas mumbled and incoherent greeting, still smiling. She bit the toast and placed the slice on her plate nearby, Sarah still holding on to her.

"I made breakfast."

"I noticed you were working really hard on those eggs."

"Well I wanted to make pancakes but then I remembered I'm shitty at making pancakes so eggs and toast will have to do," Silas then got a bottle of juice and poured two glasses while Sarah dished some eggs onto her toast. The two sat down on the couch and Sarah frowned at Silas, "you're just having toast?"

The art students nose scrunched up, "eggs are gross."

Sarah laughed, "yeah?"

"Yeah. Ew."

"Well, thank you for thinking of me."

Silas smiled again as she munched on her toast.

The was a comfortable silence until Silas spoke up, "so no big deal but, my dad and I don't really have the greatest relationship and Whenever he comes around it just...it takes a lot out of me. He showed up here the other day, asking me for money," she scoffed, "and when I said no, he flipped."

Sarah wasn't sure what to say right away, she placed her knive and fork down turning to Silas, "I'm sorry Silas, I know you don't really like talking about stuff like this. Thank you for telling me and I'm really sorry about your dad."

The brunette did what she usually did, played it off with a shrug and a joke, "daddy issues make for great art."
