Sarah sat comfortably on Lily's large office chair, while Lily opted for leaning against her desk as they caught up on each others day and ate their lunch.
Thankfully Sarah had gotten used to the slight smell of paint fumes and scented candles that filled the room. And sitting in the studio, talking to Lily sure beat sitting in her office alone answering emails through lunch.
"God, summer break cannot come soon enough." Lily sighed as she stared at the budget forms on her desk.
Sarah nodded, "it's been a hell of a year," she chuckled taking the last bite of her apple.
Students trickled back into the room slowly from whatever class had just ended.
"I guess that's my cue."
Lily smiled, getting up too, "well thanks for the company."
Sarah noticed Silas and started making her way over to her. In order not to be too obvious though, she stopped at a few students desks that she knew from her class, complimenting their work or just pretending to look around.
At last she stopped at Silas' table. The younger woman raised her eyebrows at Sarah, "hi?"
The blonde smiled, "hi."
Silas took in Sarah's appearance, with a smirk. She glanced around to see if anyone was paying attention, luckily someone started playing music and everyone was pretty distracted.
"Are you wearing my shirt Professor?"
Sarah shook her head with a smile, "no no, this is mine. I love this band." She looked down at the white t shirt that sat comfortably tucked into her slacks.
"Is that so?"
"Mhm, yeah I love," she quickly read the name that was written boldly on the shirt, "Alice in Chains."
Silas licked her lips, "it looks good on you. I think you should wear my clothes more often."
"Well, I'll see you in class Ms Foster," Sarah said hurriedly as another student approached. She quickly made her way to the door.

Later that evening the couple sat comfortably on Sarah's couch, watching a cooking show while they waited for their take out to be delivered.
Sarah was close to dozing off when Silas scoffed loudly, "unbelievable."
The blonde rubbed her eyes, "what?"
"He's starting his ice cream with 4 minutes left on the timer! Hes never gonna make it."
Sarah chuckled and her and rested her head more comfortably on Silas' chest.
The art student placed a kiss on her forehead, "are you falling asleep?"
"Hmm you're very comfy. Now shhh," Sarah smiled.
"No, you have to eat first Sar."
Sarah raised her eyebrows as an idea came to mind, "then you have to keep me awake."
"Deal." Silas grinned as she ran her fingers over the blondes ribs, the only place Sarah was ticklish.
Sarah threw her head back with laughter trying to grab hold of Silas' hands.
"That's not what I had in mind!" Sarah laughed.
Silas shrugged, "but it worked."
The blonde only hummed in response as she connected their lips.
There was a knock on the door, signaling that their food was finally there. Silas had to untangle herself from Sarah as she got up. Grabbing her wallet from her jacket she dug through it as she swung the door open.
"Hi, its 30 right?" She asked as she dug out a folded 20 dollar bill from the bottom of the wallet.
"Uh..is Sarah home?"
Silas frowned and looked up. A woman with tear stained cheeks stood in front of her. Sarah appeared from behind Silas, "Evelyn? What's going on? What are you doing here?"
Silas stood awkwardly as Sarah ushered the woman inside. As she watched this scene, confused, the art student realized she didnt know that much about Sarah's past after all.
Enter Evelyn.
