Sarah nervously stepped out of the elevator. She glanced around hoping she didn't run into anyone she knew as she made her way down the hallway to Silas' apartment. The music was blaring from inside, and Sarah was surprised that non of the med students had come to complain. She adjusted the grocery bag in her arm and knocked loudly. The couple had arranged to spend the weekend together since they hadn't seen each other, other than classes since the last weekend Silas got drunk. And Thomas was away for the long weekend so Silas suggested her place, mostly because she thought her bed was far more comfortable than Sarah's.
The knocks clearly went unheard. Sarah chuckled and tried the door, which unsurprisingly was unlocked. Once she stepped inside Silas still hadn't noticed her, she was sat in front of the large widows in the living room with an easel set up in front of her along with a big canvas. The apartment was brighter than usual and the light smell of paint and paint thinner was wafting through even though the windows were open.
Sarah set the bags down as she watched Silas with a grin. There was more paint on the art student than on the actual canvas. She was in nothing but a huge grey t-shirt and yellow socks and she held two paintbrushes in her mouth along with one in each hand.
"Si, I'm here!" Sarah spoke above the music. Silas turned and smiled brightly, hastily putting her brushes down she scrambled to Sarah and placed a kiss on her lips, trying to avoid getting paint of her girlfriends sweater. Without a word she ran to turn the music down and was back in front of Sarah in a second.
"Sorry babe, thought you were coming at 5."
Sarah shook her head, "it is 5."
"Shit really? I thought it was like 2 or something."
Sarah started unpacking the groceries, "have you eaten today? And no, coffee doesnt count."
"Then no, but we're gonna cook some wholesome meal right? Because now that you mention it I'm fucking starving," she whined.
Sarah smiled and pulled her in for another kiss, "how about I get started on this and you go shower so that I'm not just kissing a tube of paint."
Silas laughed, intertwining her hands with Sarah's, "or how about you could join me in the shower."
The blonde rolled her eyes playfully, "you only ever think about one thing Silas Foster."
"Can you blame me, Sarah Paulson?"
