Mind Talking between Familiar/Bonded

Harry both hated and loved Hogwarts, sometimes she grated on his nerves and this was one of those times. He was the first one that was going to be dueling and it was against a seventh year Beauxbatons' student.

Let's say Hogwarts was excited, Beauxbatons felt cheated slightly. Harry didn't really know what he should feel other than exasperation.

Instead, he ate a soft breakfast and made sure both wands were on him (the rules never said he couldn't use his second wand). Literally, the only thing that could stop a duel was if one of the people was immobilized or if the other forfeited. Dark Arts were allowed but you had to refrain from killing your opponent and most of them were restricted.

Harry felt his pocket and felt the sunglasses and had grabbed earlier that day, he had a semblance of a plan, it's whether it would work or not. Though, Harry felt amused when Neville noticed he grabbed sunglasses for his duel, instantly requested his own pair to keep on him.

Once he finished breakfast, Dumbledore announced the first duel was starting in 10 minutes and that the two participants should head to the classrooms that have been designated to the dueling tournament

Harry was there first, his professor Flitwick was there second and Harry and he started to talk about some spells that Harry should remember.

Harry stepped into the giant ring that had been created for the event. The large platform that Lockhart thought best to duel on was hardly usable for the actual art of dueling. The two participants needed more space to move and to be able to dodge like a good dueler.

Flitwick did have to say goodbye when the boy from Beauxbatons arrived with a frown seeming annoyed. Harry took the time to really look around the classroom they were in.

Actually, it wasn't really a classroom. If Harry had to really guess, it was like a ballroom type classroom. Like, someone had taken a large ballroom and had just thrown a lot of desks, a chalkboard, and bookshelves in the room and decided to call it a classroom. The ring itself was probably half the size of a American football field and was circular in shape. All around the ring were bleachers that hosted the other schools and the participants family if they decide to join.

Harry spotted Percy, Remus, and Sirius in one of the bleachers and waved to them softly. They waved back, all smiling and Percy gave him a thumbs-up and mouthed: Don't destroy the other one too badly.

Harry shook his head at his father's antics before placing the sunglasses on his face before sticking them there and making it transitional glasses. So, they acted like his regular glasses until a bright light hit them and made them dim.

It would have to do for now, there wasn't anything against glasses in the ring, but Harry didn't know about sunglasses. He briefly saw Neville in the crowd with Draco, Daphne, Blaise, and Luna. Luna seeming to hold something in her lap that no one could spot (it was Lunar and around her neck was Regina as Familiars were banned from dueling tournaments).

"Are the duelers ready?" Dumbledore asked as the other boy got onto the stage, his frown still present as he glowered at Harry.

"I can't believe I am being made to fight a little boy who probably will give me no challenge," the other boy muttered angrily as he got in his offensive stance.

Harry raised an eyebrow at the other boy but refrained from speaking French to him. If the boy mutters in French, thinking Harry can't hear him, then it gives Harry an edge in the duel. He was also planning on not speaking overly much, give him the slight edge and allow his magical core to really flex itself.
