The silk cushions snaked themselves around Lara as she tossed and turned, her thoughts relentlessly hounding her.

'It requires a tremendous amount of discipline in order to shield your mind from your opponent.' - 'Help me!!'  - ' You are at their mercy and if at any time you are distracted,' - The brown volcanic irises hardened before erupting. Their red lava dripping down over his cheeks splashing onto the floor, - 'they will exploit your lapse in concentration and claim control over your mind.'- His thin pale fingers tightening around her neck. Her own, clawing at his eyes out of desperation.

     'Help me!!'

Abruptly Lara awoke. Her body slathered in sweat.

     Who was he?

What did he want from her?

One moment he was staring daggers at her and the next he was pleading for her help.

Lara remembered how different his face had looked, when he spoke to her. Softer, younger, even his eyes were more appealing. It was almost like there were two different people in the one body. Is that even possible?.

Oh Lyon. What she would give to be with him right now, with his arms around her. Just the thought sent a feeling of warmth, that swept through her evoking a recollection of how, just his touch, made her feel so secure and protected.

With a heavy sigh, she rose to her feet, quite surprised that she wasn't feeling any discomfort from her activities of the night before.

The first thing Lara became aware of as she looked around her, was that she was still the only one in the room. But, more importantly, there was a change of clothing that was  identical to what she was currently wearing, on the table to her right with a note beside it, written hastily, she guessed, by the look of the penmanship.

     Larayna

Good morning

Just a reminder, the bathroom, is through the door at the back of the room, with hopefully everything you need.

We will return shortly with breakfast.

Try the 3rd arena. You might find it 'more' of a challenge.

Greno

'More of a challenge?' – So they had been keeping an eye on her last night. If she only knew how they did it, she would be able to see what they were doing right now.

Unfortunately, there was no mention of their conversation with The Elder, or if they had been successful in finding who Morski's host was. Never the less, a shower sounded like heaven at this moment.

                                       *****

'How the hell, did she know where I was?'

Even though he had sensed she was close, he had never expected her or anyone else for that matter, to show up at his door like that.

He sat upright in his chair, hands clenched.

"What mind game was the White Swan playing at?"

Her very presence mocked him. Forcing him to witness his own failings. His schemes would have worked if she had not interfered.

     He just knew it!
