My Feelings..

Depression...

A story of mine which I don't know how it ended up like this,

Leaving me all broken and torn apart,

Depression taught me so many things in life,

I don't know that after finding about my depression I lost my soul or found it,

First I found about my depression,

Then I found about my anxiety,

Later I got insomnia,

And  now my life is left in an utter mess,

I changed so much,

The past me was so different than the present me,

And the future me will be so different than the present me,

No matter how much I have changed and will change,

I will still be the person I am at my heart,

Two years ago I lost someone due to the same reason called depression,

He is so dear to me, 

It pains so much that I wasn't able to do anything to save him,

I love him the most in this world,

He is the reason I am alive today,

As our life goes there are ups and downs in each moment,

We need to make our weaknesses into our strength,

I know it's not simple as it sounds because I personally know how it feels,

It feels like there's nothing left for us, 

It becomes an endless tunnel for us or a maze with no way out,

There are so many times when it feels like yes things are getting better,

But then again something happens which brings everything back,

It then feels like being happy and alright is just a dream for us,

Because we can never get better, 

The world is evil, yeah not everyone is,

But here everyone has a mask,

And beneath that mask is their real face, their real heart, who they truly are,

Each of them hides their face for some or the other reason,

So you never know the intentions of the other person,

We live in a world where everyone wants to put themselves first,

Some people are so full of themselves that they think they are superior to others,

They hurt us, they break us, they bully us, they us feel like monsters,

In fact they turn us into monsters,

Depression is something that just keeps on drowning us,

It's a state which we can't explain it to someone who has never felt the same way,

It's not as simple as saying "Get over it....It's just a phase..."

It's more than that, it's more than what it looks like,

It's something which changes our lives completely,

It's changes everything for us,

It leaves us devastated,

In a world full of darkness,

With no way to escape.......
