Battle of NY, P3: Little Game of Tag

     Eve landed behind her brother, easing towards the edge as he easily took out Chitauri Riders with his arrows. Hitting his mark each time.
"Forgot to mention earlier, but I like the look." He commented smoothly, aiming his bow behind him. Releasing the arrow smoothly. Somehow hitting his intended target without looking, "Very Isu, but a bit like a demonic warrior version."
Eve ignored the mention of her true race, rolling her eyes at her brother's antics,
"Stop showing off. Keep your eyes on Starky over there." She noted.
Clint looked down to see Iron Man being chased by a plethora of Riders.
"Stark. You got a lot of strings sticking to your tail."
"Just tryin to keep em' off the streets." His stressed out voice responded through their comms.
"Well, they can't bank worth a damn. Find a tight corner."
Clint sent Eve a look after relaying his orders. With a lazy salute she stepped off of the edge of the building, hovering readily for the right moment.
"I will, roger that."
Tony turned a tight corner, coming into view of the two Barton's. Eve let gravity take her as she unsheathed her sword. She twisted in the air, slicing a ship cleanly in half. A strange surge of power ran through the blade and exploded outwards, demolishing enough ships to give Iron Man a little more room to breathe as he led the rest underground, through parking garages that were left open due to the chaos. Eve glided through the flames, putting up her right forearm, clenching her least dominate hand into a fist. The ring on her finger tugged at the mechanism. Her shield easily protected her from the worst of the flames. Glowing ever so slightly around the edges. The two came back into the open air. Iron Man looked back to see only Eve following him closely, sword in hand.
"Nice call. What else you got?"
"Well, Thor's taking on a squadron down on 6th."
"And he didn't invite me?" Eve only heard disappointment in the millionaire's voice
"What an asshole." She snorted.
The woman glanced over her shoulder. Only to do a double take when she saw a Leviathan head straight towards an office building that was still filled by people. Eve split off from Stark without a second thought, raising her sword high as she neared the creature. Slicing off a side fin cleanly at the closest area she could get to the main body. The Leviathan roared in pain, while slowly tilting to the right, only not far enough. With a growl she dug her hand into the side armor, using pure strength to dent it enough for a decent handhold. She adjusted her grip on the sword, stabbing the beast in the side of its neck. Just missing the important artery.
"Motherfucker." She gritted out, trying to force her sword in deeper, but something hard was protecting the important body part.
She gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands, letting her feet swing in the air. As she used her sudden weight drop to drag the sword down, causing dark purple blood drip onto her skin. Still the beast got closer to the building. Before she could use her full strength to simply shove the beast away as best as possible, she watched as Hulk plowed through the building easily. Jumping into the air to grip the creatures humongous fang, pulling on it before aggressively punching the Leviathan's eye. The overgrown snake finally began to head downwards and turning away from the building, trying to wave off the two.
"Hey! Jolly Green G!" She shouted over the wind.
Hulk turned towards her with a small growl, but his eyes were filled by a strange calm.
"Mind opening up this thing's jaw?"
He grunted, adjusting himself so he could haul the beast's mouth open forcefully. She tore her sword out of the creatures neck, sliding into his huge mouth with ease. Eve struggled to keep her footing on the squishy tongue.
"Fuck, the smell!" She gagged, trying to keep her food down. Looking down at her legs to see saliva was attached to her suit, "God that's gonna stain."
There was a growl, she turned to see Hulk peering through the jagged teeth as if to keep an eye on her.
"Right, I was doing something."
The blonde took a knee, getting her sword ready by angling it upwards towards where the brain should be.
"Let's hope this works Jolly G."
Hulk grunted. She thrusted her sword through the skull of the beast, and suddenly the creature let out a wailing noise as it started to fall. Her body was about to be pulled into the throat of the beast when a huge hand gripped her calf. Hauling her out into the open air. Hulk wrapped around her protectively as he hit the ground. He unraveled himself from her, helping her land on the ground delicately. She smiled at him softly,
"Thanks big guy."
He growled softly before jumping back onto the buildings. She sighed, taking her temporary peace as she ripped her sword out of the creature's mouth. Checking it for any damage when she was suddenly tackled by eight different aliens. Let's say the streets were filled by rapid fire cursing and flashes of white blinding light.

Eve stood in the center of mutilated Alien bodies, practically heaving as she attempted to calm herself. Thunder roared overhead. She noticed Spangles was struggling on his own to keep waves of Chitauri soldiers off his back. With a snarl, the woman used her super speed to his side. Throwing a plethora of blades into incoming soldiers. Never missing her mark. She turned swiftly, holding up her right forearm, her shield formed over her arm just in time to deflect an incoming blade. She stabbed an alien through it's bottom jaw and straight into the brain. The creature died quickly. Tony flew down, shooting at the aliens that almost got to close. Tin Can pointed his hand boosters at Spangles upraised shield, the energy easily reflecting off of the metal and taking down most of the nearby Chitauri. She smoothly vaulted over the energy beam while throwing her daggers. Taking off into the air when she noticed a Chitauri Leviathan was swarmed by its own people. Eve unsheathed her sword rushing into battle. She shot pure golden energy from her sword before landing into a smooth roll and stopping in a crouched position. She flicked out her arm. A throwing knife killing a Chitauri before it got to close to Thor's back. He turned, throwing his hammer just above her head. She stood, using her shield to defend herself and Thor's back as they fought side by side. Hulk tore off a massive piece of armor off of the creature's back, jumping up so he could impale the beast. The overgrown man turned to keep the smaller Chitauri soldiers away from the sliver of armor. Thor brought up his hammer, summoning all of his strength as he brought lightning down with a terrible blow. The beast let out a weak roar as it crashed through a history museum. Finally dead. Eve, Thor, and Hulk stood on the back of the Chitauri Leviathan. The two boys were admiring their handiwork while Eve was working on getting the blood off of her sword. Suddenly Hulk hit Thor with his enormous fist, sending Thor through a few walls. Hulk let out a satisfied grunt while Eve simply cackled wickedly.

Eve landed next to her brother, wiping purple blood off of her face with a grimace. Before he could make a smart comment about her current state he froze when he noticed Nat on top of a Chitauri Rider, dodging wildly as she was shot at by multiple Alien Riders that were hot on her tail. Loki was among them.
"Nat? What the fuck are you doing!" Eve roared into her comms. Eyes alight with rage as the winds suddenly picked up, sky darkening.
"Uh...a little help!"
"Clint." Eve snarled.
But he was already way ahead of her, already nocking his arrow into place. Aiming at Loki, a little smirk on his face
"I've got him."
Eve dove into the air like a professional diver. Shooting off in pursuit of her ex-lover. Time seemingly slowed as she passed Loki. His eyes had flickered green when he caught the arrow out of the air. Smiling directly at Clint. Eve smirked as she sped by, hearing the rigged arrow explode. She wove through the remaining Riders, easily shoving them into nearby buildings. She rushed forward just as Nat jumped off of her ride, only for Eve to catch her before she hurt herself by landing wrong,
"Careful now. I won't always be there to catch you."
The redhead smirked, "I doubt you'll ever let me fall to my doom."
Eve shrugged in agreement as she gently placed Romanoff onto her feet. Turning towards where Loki was inside of the Stark Tower.
