The next 2 weeks went relatively the same, always hungry, struggling with my emotions, feeling alone, and watching Ash. I had gotten better at hiding it, and I googled my symptoms and just thought I had the baby blues. We had a doctors appointment. I put Ash in a little pink onesie that had little giraffes on it. My uterus was almost completely back to normal, and discomfort was way less than it had been. We walked in, and were immediately seen. They checked over Asherah asking questions, and assumed she was well taken care of. We drove home and dealt with the baby as normal.
2 Days Later: I was still struggling with my emotions. Betty had even noticed several of my crying spells, hunger, and irritably. I was so exhausted and fell alseep more than a handful of times feeding Ash, or while having skin to skin time with her. I had only left the house once with her, since you doesn't even have majority of her vaccinations yet. Betty cleaned her bottles twice, once in the dish washer and once boiled, and don't even think of touching Ash unless you have cleaned your hands. Ash was now 3 weeks old, so I decided I was gonna have a Serpent meeting and introduce them to her. It was being held at my house because I just didn't want Asherah out of the house to much until she gets her 6 month shots. Word had gotten around to Toni and Cheryl. Me and Betty had been sitting in the couch, and Ash was on the floor doing "tummy time." Betty's phone rang," Hello Cheryl?" She suddenly hands the phone to me," Yeah," I say to announce I was there. "Could the Pretty Poisons come and join you tonight?" "If you can promise no fights and you make sure you wash your hands." "You've got yourself a deal Jonesie."
